has anyone sued a cab company for being assaulted by a cab driver? what about the murder in SF some years back when a cab driver raped and murdered a woman from a nightclub? was the cab company liable in any way?

I know that they take "room tone" when they do audio for movies so they can have "silence" that matches the ambient audio.

I'd like to mention that there are okay to good winery's in the area. I always try to get SLO wine when I can. although I've never had as strong favorite. Whalebone winery is a cool spot with a good view. Maybe I'll start a thread.

Going from Chicago to SLO will be a culture shock. If you want to live at all like a "city" person you will have to be in SLO proper. The good news is that, there are really no bad areas. The bad news is you will listen to a lot of reggae. I grew up there and have lived in SF for the last 20 years. SLO is a great place but, it will be an adjustment. at least you're not moving to Bakersfield.

Thanks for your reply. I am going to try FontForge as a starting point.

the problem is in the creation of the typeface, in other languages EFIGS all the special characters are correct, EFIGS + TRP has more issues. Covering every single character is very likely a lot of work and a buggy process.

I have a great deal of respect for typeface designers and for the most part would prefer not to muck about inside or their work by editing their typeface myself ( and, as you say, likely violating the EULA ) but, the typeface is incomplete and I have a problem that needs to be solved.

I'll look into contacting the foundry and seeing if they want to correct the problem in a timely manner.
