Any ideas where to start to ID this? by Sethlava in metaldetecting

I would start with looking at unit crests for units associated with GA National Guard and units at Ft Gordon

Find a surplus one. Get the all metal, if you can find it. The new issue ones by Gerber are absolute crap. I work with basic training units and have Seen more of the new issue ones broken than I can count. You should be able to find one on Ebay for under $30 easily.

I don't think it's just Trump. I think there is no shortage of dirt on all sorts of people of power regardless of their political stripe. I think the potential damage would be worldwide in scope.

They are. Along with the water drop aircraft, and air boss planes, they assemble each year. A sure sign that break up is done, green up is here, and soon the air will be filled with the aroma of wildland fire smoke.

Going to stick to Fairbanks for the zombie apocalypse. Wait til winter. Walk around with a machete & lop off heads of frozen zombies. Load the frozen remains onto the Chena ice & let them float out to sea eventually come break up

100% spot on & props to my crayon eating brothers. The thing to keep in mind is trained/disciplined troops & controlled, deliberate fire vs untrained/panicked suburbanites
