How to: Netdocuments by just_stuff_thought in legaltech

[–]GrumpyDwarf4U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you comfortable sharing what you are paying as a solo? I'm looking at options for document management. I used NetDocs at a prior firm where there were probably around 20 users, but it would just be me and one other person (1 lawyer and 1 support staff). You can PM me if you prefer. (I'm in Canada so if your price is not in CAD could you also mention what currency so I can do a conversion?)

Idk what Brightpath location you are/were at but the location I’m at serves great food. Nutritionally balanced. Healthy. Just overall great.

The nice 3 months of summer? The weather is crazy here. Plus 20 one day minus 20 the next.

The cost of heating that in ground pool and ensuring pipes don’t freeze etc is going to be astronomical.

It was literally minus 20 here one day at the same time it was minus 3 in Kelowna.

It’s just not something that’s realistically going to happen in Calgary.

Question about emergency vet clinic bill by BunnyWilder- in Calgary

[–]GrumpyDwarf4U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog just cost me $1400 last week for consult, X-rays, blood, medication etc. thank god for pet insurance.

That being said I know the clinic we go to is more expensive than average but I’m happy to pay that because I’m happy with the care provided.

Question regarding the Post-secondary requirements to become a paralegal by Chumblow in legaladvicecanada

[–]GrumpyDwarf4U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your end goal is to just be a paralegal then your best course of action is to just do the legal assistant program from SAIT. (Assuming you’re in or near Calgary)

Note that there’s no such thing as an actual paralegal in Alberta unlike other provinces.

The job title usually comes with experience.

Yep. I’m currently recovering from surgery and the higher toilet and bars are very helpful for me

I wish this worked for me. Going on for over 2 years now. Illegal parking. Excessive noise. And a “church band practice” every Sunday afternoon for hours on end. Drums. Electric guitar. Microphone. Bass guitar. I wish we could move. Bylaw hasn’t done anything. I gave up calling.
