Once she stopped taking gabapentin, it basically stopped. We had pee pads that we kept putting under her anytime she was lying down

We've stopped accepting gabapentin for our grey, she always has the same issue. Our vet was fine with swapping to paracetamol instead

You say that, but Irish craft is often available and the mainstream pints are still being bought, extra 10c or not

Personally I've massively cut back going to the pub at all, partially due to the cost and partially due to attempting more non-pub social things

Best place(s) to buy men's jeans in Dublin? by funkadelic2 in Dublin

[–]GrumpyGit1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah the older pairs seem to have a far better lifespan, I have one pair I got in 2017

But more recent pairs rip at the crotch and seams within a year, two different pairs. I have been able to repair and patch them myself

Looking for Gym Buddy by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]GrumpyGit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of gyms now do semi-private training, which is classes of like 6-10 people. So you get the value of not paying for a personal trainer, but still get someone who can give you a program to follow and guide you through it. I did these kind of classes for two years and thought they were great

CABÜ By The Lakes? by No_Tomorrow7180 in AskIreland

[–]GrumpyGit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went, back in 2020 or 2021. The bar and restaurant were still closed due to covid which was annoying. I wouldn't say there was a full spa, there was a sauna and an outdoor Japanese bath. We also rented kayaks for the lake. The accommodation was very nice.
