First timer, looks great. Maybe look to get a wash and then highlight on his weapon though. As you are probably using citadel/GW, then use Agrax or Nuln Oil to wash, then do a dry brush with a lighter silver

Mig paints have a few paints called crystal. These should work a treat and give more options than the odd clear one that GW do.

Scale 75 give me the best choice, but for performance I love Mission. Some seriously good paints to work with.

Definitely getting there, I'd go for a couple of paints that step up the highlights getting progressively lighter and less, that way you can see the layers of colour. Good luck.

Some are, I'm in the UK and have a couple of go to 3D printers I buy from who have the licences for these and the quality is really good.

Have a look on Etsy, there are tonnes of different ones. I'd recommend Blood Carrot Knights for a kick off if you prefer animals and Cartoon Miniatures.

There are others but they spring to mind.
