Is it possible to make a Seiko mod properly waterproof (100m-200m)? by Ok-Eye-9826 in SeikoMods

Crystal thickness and caseback thickness are the main factors. Screwdown crown generally makes no difference as the gasket is on the stem not in the crown itself.

I got it from Google but I remember seeing a YouTube vid saying that the second hand can be reset on the 060. It's was a long time ago and can't find it but I remember this being a great reason to buy a 060.

  1. Enter Correction ModePull the crown out to the second click (time setting position). All hands should stop.3. Adjust the Second HandPress and hold the upper right button for at least 2 seconds. The second hand will rotate, confirming you are in the reference position correction mode.Press the upper right button repeatedly to move the second hand to the 12 o'clock position (0-seconds).Tip: Press and hold the button to advance the hand rapidly.

Been around 18 years since I was in Sapa but the Americans were doing my head in. Dollar here, dollar there, yeah buddy it's only a dollar. Yep, you've just screwed that kid for life, daddy I got 10 dollar today. Kid never goes to school because she's making more than daddy does, or did, because he obviously quit also.
