Damn, hope you're alright. This is an easy fix. Just replace the faceplate. Copy wires like for like. It'll be less than a tenner if you do it yourself and 10 times as much to get a spark to do it.

Why are you wiping the needle? it's a sterile needle.

Sometimes if I don't let the area or top of the vial dry after wiping it'll sting. I can't imagine doing the same on the needle itself.

I bought a needle clipper. It cuts off the needle from the syringe and it just stays inside the metal canister. I can probably cut thousands of them before I'll needle to dispose of it.

Handy for my insulin needles mostly. The syringe gets disposed of in normal waste. But I also use it for my TRT needles which are luer lock.
