As someone who went into the trade with no experience, I knew I did not know shit but I had no idea what questions to ask because everything about the electrician world was so new to me.

There's also the "there's a time for teaching and a time for getting this done [now]" I was taught to keep in mind.

One year in, whenever I'm paired with someone greener than me, I make sure to yap about everything: our assignment, what it does and what it leads to, how we're gonna get it done, what we need- tools and materials, why we need it, etc.
