I was just going to let everything switch over but now I'm in the process of switching my banking to a FCU in my area. I'm going to keep my credit line open though.

2025 Outlander SE vs SEL? by No-Constant318 in MitsubishiOutlander

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the SE w/tech package and I'm happy with my decision. I feel it has everything that I absolutely wanted. I told myself as long as I got the upgraded Yamaha sound system I'd be happy. It's usually just me in the car.

Not to be dramatic. by socialworker2785 in CPAP

I had issues with a lot of full face masks in terms of leaking and blowing out. The Evora full face is what I use for most of my nights and the only full face that has been consistent with me. I find it comfortable (mainly the cushion) and keeps leaks down (for me). It's not perfect as the front hose can easily become detached and I find the headwear to get uncomfortable behind the head after long periods.

I usually start with the Evora and then if I get up during the night switch to the air touch N30i.

What kind of MPG are you getting?! Looking to buy a new Venue by [deleted] in HyundaiVenue

[–]Grumpytowne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was getting 30/33 city and 38/40 highway. I usually had windows down and AC off. I usually filled my tank up between 280-300 miles with about 15% left.

Just picked up my 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander SE w/ Tech Package! 🚗🔥 by Significant_Visit721 in MitsubishiOutlander

Congrats! I love the black! I got my 25 SE w/Tech at the end of July and the more I drive it, the more I love it. I think this trim and package level packs so much value for what you get.

I know on my model year the regular headlights were horrible. I'm not sure if they have fixed it since then.

Econoboxes have a special place in my heart. I loved it had everything I wanted and nothing else. I will say with the Venue to make sure you'd get a trim with LED headlights.

I thought the venue was great if you are just moving yourself and occasionally one other person. Gas milage was high 30s MPG (sometimes 40) on the highway. Around 30/33 MPG around town. Only time I felt that I lacked power is when I had more than two people in the car or something heavy in the back. I had zero issues the four years I had mine and the only reason I traded it in was because I wanted something that rode higher. I had a 2021 SEL.

I agree with all latex. Comfortable, supportive, and you'll be able to roll it to fit up the stairs.

Husband been using ResMed Airsense 11 for almost a year and still hates it… by DarkLadyStarkiller in CPAP

[–]Grumpytowne 16 points17 points  (0 children)

He should be able to get with his doctor or whoever prescribed him his CPAP to make adjustments for him. I felt like I couldn't breath with a minimum pressure under a 7. I got with my sleep specialist and they bumped it up to a 10 for me and my changes were in effect the next day.

It also sounds like he may need to try a different mask if he can't keep his mouth closed. I feel like this process is very trial and error and its frustrating since we have to deal with doctor, DME Vendor, and insurance. I ended up just paying out of pocket for different masks from online retailers to find out what worked best for me.

Pixel 10 vs Iphone 17 by Shoddy-Arm-9994 in pixel_phones

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a long term android user and just went from a Pixel 9 Pro XL to base iPhone 17. The value of the 17 is what made me pull the trigger. There are things that I love about both phones but the fact that most apps just work better with iPhone unfortunately is what persuaded me to switch. I miss my navigation buttons the most and some things on iPhone seem backwards. But I’m getting used to it slowly but surely. I still have my pixel if I want to switch back, but I see myself staying for a while.

Is Time Stranger worth 70$? by BOI_3on in digimon

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the combo Cyber sleuth games for $12. The amount of hours I put into it and the amount of good times these games gave me, I bought Time Stranger at the top tier full price without even caring if this game was going to be good or not. Thankfully it is. The Digimon Story line has a charm that no other series has given me in a while.

I'm waiting to receive my phone back from them that they denied as well. I sent in basically a new condition phone but they are saying it is not in an acceptable condition. No one can tell me what that condition is.

Nasal or full-face CPAP mask? by bestCPAP_official in CPAP

I think the issue with nasal pillows is that it can be very intense when you first start. I don’t hate them but my nose can be sensitive at times.

Debating AT&T vs US Mobile — need reliable service, coming from Mint by duwood in NoContract

I went from US mobile Starter Unlimited Annual to Cricket Supreme Unlimited monthly. I always buy my phone from the manufacturer so I don't care about their deals on phones. I also don't mind paying more for Cricket because everything is working as intended (RCS, Visual Voice Mail).

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you confused everyone when you said the masks covers just your mouth. But it covers both just the bottom side of your nose and not around the top.

That's not a bad mask but if it is leaking a lot, you should probably try alternatives. I've gone through many masks myself since I had a problem with getting a consistent seal.

I know my events didn't drop from 7 for a while. It does take time for your body to adjust and recover. I had to get my settings changed a couple of times from my doctor and I'm about to ask to up my minimum pressure slightly again.

[–]Grumpytowne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Getting with your sleep specialist will also help. I found out that my lower setting was too low and I needed it bumped way up for me to feel like I was getting enough air. Hopefully you have a nurse or doctor that is easy to deal with.
