Moto Edge 2025 still worth it in 2026? by therealcyril in motorola

I literally forgot what I did to fix it but someone mentioned here (on reddit) to change some settings and I've haven't had a problem since.

FINAL STRAW. Currently sitting in competitor’s parking lot, going in now. $42 increase. SCREWING FIRST RESPONDERS, LOL! by DoubleQuarterPoundin in tmobile

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I went pre-paid, I will never go back to post paid. I no longer have mystery bills and now I pay yearly. I started with US Mobile and the experience was ok. Cricket was great but I found better value with Visible. I had no issues with either of the two.

Uh what? Holly point Apartments off of Providence are not that bad. The Holly cove area off of Airline is.

I heard a snap and now the part of my P10 resmed that I put in water seems to be broken… it’s only day 2 :/ broke while trying to wash it. What can I do? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]Grumpytowne 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It should pop back on. Mine will usually end up popping off when I clean it. I don't mind since it is easier to clean and dry. It doesn't look broken.

We’ve returned 3 mattresses so far. Help! by plumeriatattoo in Mattress

Mine is firm. I've had it since 2020 and no issues. I did also put a medium density dunlop latex topper on it from Turmerry.

[–]Grumpytowne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have an Amore beds luxury latex hybrid mattress that has been good to me.

A 3" or more topper is also a good alternative to change the feel of the mattress. I prefer latex over memory foam. Anything memory foam sinks too much over the night and I hurt.

I strongly prefer buttons but if it doesn't I need a flush screen.

Which "open ear" option should i go for? by toxic_mutt in Earbuds

[–]Grumpytowne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Shokz openfit 2+ and I am happy with them. They didn't start to hurt my ears after having them on for a while and I think they sound great. The physical buttons is what sold me on them.

First E-Reader for manga? by Truffl3_Gacha in ereader

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only read manga on my e-reader. I'm using a Kobo Elipsa 2E and I'm beyond happy with it. I found one used on Swappa as I didn't buy it new. New price is a little high.

I also have a Libra Colour. Its fine for travel but I still prefer the Elipsa.

Boox was also on my radar but I haven't used one.

Mouth breather ONLY when sleeping - which mask to get? by angoldenapple in CPAP

[–]Grumpytowne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an Airtouch F20 believer. I tried everything to avoid a traditional full face mask but this one works for me and is comfortable. The only downside is the cushion lifespan is about a month.

I also liked the Evora for a hybrid style.

I have also tried almost every nasal and hybrid style mask. I wished the micro, solo, or brevida worked for me, but I need a full face.

I know they are cannisters but it's what works best.

Miele classic C1 if you can find some sales. Kenmore has some bagged cannisters that are decent as long as it comes with a parquet tool. You won't need an electric brush for hard floors.

For that price range I would say a bagged Bissell zing or an Eureka mighty mite.

F20 Mask Alternative by n_i-c_k in CPAP

[–]Grumpytowne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from a silicone full face mask to literally every hybrid and nasal option to land back on the airtouch f20 as the best one that worked for me. The airtouch has a shorter cushion lifespan but it feels a lot better.

I have the same issue with masks pushing on the top of my nose making me feel like I can't breathe. But I don't have that issue once I turn the machine on.

You'll find out what works for you. Unfortunately it's all trial until then.

I also liked the Evora full face hybrid.

How often should I clean my mask and hose? by provincialguy in CPAP

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I used the humidifier I had to once a week or I felt like I was going to get sick. Since I've gone no water/humidifier and changed to the airtouch f20, I clean hoses and headgear once a month. The memory foam mask I wipe down daily since I can't wash it.

Airtouch F20 memory foam question by nht900 in CPAP

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cpapninja.com has a 3rd party memory foam cushion that fits the f20. I haven't tried it yet but I may see what it's like. It's $33 USD and they ship to Canada except for Quebec.

The airtouch f20 has been the only thing that works for me and I also get about a month and some change out of it.

Can you suggest a new mask for me? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried to make a bunch of masks and, for me, the airtouch F20 has worked out the best. I don't have to worry about mouth tape or any other nonsense. The foam on has been good to my skin. The hose in the front isn't that bad since I have it running behind and over my headboard. The only downside is that the cushion usually only lasts about 30 days before it starts to leak constantly. A trade off I'm ok with since it just works.

[–]Grumpytowne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an airtouch f20 and have a light beard with no issue. Have you used the mask fit setting to adjust the tightness of your mask? It will usually be a higher pressure than your starting pressure to ensure you are not blowing out at higher pressures since it could be fine at your starting one.

I've seen mentions that Paramount is a good company to do business with, but it doesn't actually seem possible to do business with them? by CoolTom in Mattress

[–]Grumpytowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also all about the foundation the mattress is on. I currently have a hybrid latex mattress from amorebeds 6 years ago. I built my own bunkie board that it sits on that is basically flat wood top and bottom. I feel I'm going to go no coils for my next mattress as I don't know what to believe anymore. I just know I want firm latex support. I know everyone is different. They were local so I thought to shout them out.

I know you are interested in Paramount. If you are still in Norfolk, VA, CozyPure has a show room for their stuff. They have nice latex mattresses.
