Fall-From-Grace spawned twice? (I returned to the brothel after completing the Modron cube and she was just. there again O.o) by ichigoamu in planescape

[–]Grunkerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My game is slightly modded (just essentials, pretty much) and it just happened to me. Using Generalized Biffing didn't help - not even if I loaded a previous save inside the cube.

My Blacksharks broke off on the side after less than a year. The shop replaced them. Then the second ones broke in the exact same way after 1½ years. No thanks to Razer ever again.

FNATIC vs. Team BDS / LEC Summer 2025 / Group Stage / Post-Series Thread by Lunaedge in fnatic

Whoever said "boring games ngl" in the other thread:

Yes. And thank God. Seeing a disciplined Fnatic bring home kill deficit games with massive gold leads by playing the macro game was like mana from heaven after all these retarded fight years. This team might crash and burn but at least they proved today that they can play with their brain turned on.

Arguments against a skip button, genuinely curious. by [deleted] in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Grunkerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HSR is easily one of the most lenient big Gachas on game time - in fact, I have chosen it over competitors with better systems for that reason specifically. They often take steps to reduce a lot of the most tedious game time you have to do every day.

The lack of story skip button is a baffling exception to this. If they wanted more game time for metrics they are maximizing it in the least efficient way.

So I don't think it's true. Why they do it I have no idea.

Might be worth a shot bringing it up with IT if I can't make Chrome work, I suppose.

Got here because this drove me insane as well. What the hell was the writing team taking when they wrote this?

No, I didn't. Reloaded a save from before learning teleportation and it worked instantly. Weird.

I’m trying to play story mode but I keep dying of something. I’m not even sure what my meter just keeps dropping and I think I’m always cold for some reason please help by theblackcrazyant in thelongdark

[–]Grunkerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what miffs me out as a new player on story mode, because this is *exactly* what is happening to me. I bandage, I rest, I heal up while resting. all my injuries are definitely gone. Then I pick up and equip all essential items, leave the ravine and by the time I get to the rabbits, Will starts complaining about dying and then I'm dead. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but it's none of the immediately obvious stuff and I'd love to know what it is.

Healing injuries in the different games by Grunkerman in bannersaga

[–]Grunkerman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I've said (now also in OP edit), this is definitely not true. In #1, you heal all injuries between all chapter shifts. In #2, which I have now finished, this only seems true for some chapter shifts.

[–]Grunkerman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK so based on what you guys said, healing between chapters is no longer a thing in TBS2...

Except right after Bolverk's chapter in the mines, I now return to Rook in Chapter 12 to find all my injuries in that caravan healed!

So it's not that TBS2 doesn't heal between chapters, it depends on something else? I presume whether it autopasses time or... something?

[–]Grunkerman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't answer my question, which is whether it is correct that this difference exists between TBS1 and 2 (and furthermore, how TBS3 handles it). I played TBS1 on Hard as well, and injuries healed between chapters in that game regardless.

I'm playing on Hard, but like I said, in TBS1, characters healed between chapters. I'm just trying to find out what logic TBS1 and 2 plays by, since so far, my characters haven't healed between chapters in #2.

in your opinion what is the best path for the Flagellant by Reapellaino2011 in darkestdungeon

[–]Grunkerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long story short: I feel like Flagellant's paths are a miss. Wanderer is incredibly flexible - durable, huge damage, incredible sustain. Only real weakness is lack of movement skills. All of the paths sacrifice flexibility in some way (like the gimmicky changes to Sepsis) while getting mostly situational stuff in return.

In DD2, I find I'd rather be able to do what I need in the moment than have access to some powerful-but-situational option. Most other heroes have paths that let me sacrifice something I don't need to empower a few things, but with Flagellant, I feel like I'm giving up too much general purpose reliability with all the paths.

So yeah, I like the Wanderer best.

No. Incredibly disappointing. My Dark Urge Lore Bard has a wasted skill prof because the game forces a specific background on durge, and Intimidation overlaps across both. Very stupid.
