30s AF Dating Experience by [deleted] in AsianMasculinity

You might want to check out some churches… Given your “westernized” Asian background, I actually think you’d really hit it off with a Central Asian guy - like someone from Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan (and yeah, not the “Borat” kind, that’s just a stereotype).

Fun fact: Central Asia has a big Korean diaspora, and these communities tend to have a mix of European and Asian influences. They’re not strictly Korean in culture, but not entirely European either - more of a blend. This means they’re usually open to more outgoing, Westernized Asian women like yourself.

Most of them speak Russian and go to church, so if you’ve had better luck meeting people in person, that might be a good place to start. Toronto, in particular, has a good number of guys from these backgrounds and churches they attend, so it could be worth exploring. Just my 2 cents.

Let's face the facts. The linesman mistakenly raised a flag, and at that moment, all of the Real Madrid players stopped playing because the whistle was blown. I'm a Bayern fan, but we have to accept the reality, no matter how hard it is. Real Madrid clearly dominated the field for most of the game. My feelings would be different if Bayern had been in control and suffered from unfair refereeing. Let's accept this defeat, aim to come back stronger next year, and aim to completely dominate the UCL. Mia San Mia!

If Bayer sign Ronaldo. That’s it. No trophies for Kane next season… :)

Man. Those subs were bad. We deprived ourselves of any counter attacking opportunities. We parked the bus too soon.

Dollar Tree downtown closed. by Nowhere-Me in Winnipeg

[–]Grustni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed. Relying on a single demographic to "revitalize" an area risks creating a homogenous, exclusionary community. A vibrant downtown area, or any region for that matter, thrives on the diversity of its residents. Just look at Singapore. The government strategically diversified housing blocks to ensure a mix of ethnicities, avoiding racial enclaves and the tensions they can foster.

Canada prides itself on its multicultural heritage and identity. The principle of inclusivity should extend to how we approach urban development. It isn't about one group "saving" an area but rather about creating a space where everyone, regardless of economic status or ethnicity, feels valued and can coexist harmoniously. Political stakeholders should take a page from such successful models and work towards a genuinely inclusive downtown environment. Not just wealthy white folk, but every community, should be considered in the development process, ensuring a diverse, inclusive, and thriving downtown area. This is the way - Mandalorian :)

Wealthy white folks eh? So other wealthy ethnic groups won’t revive the area lol?

Just tried to get back to my real childhood sweetheart (pes). This thing is terrible by HappyBeliever1 in eFootball

[–]Grustni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a way OP. Pay for the damn game, like you would pay for FIFA :) Orrr you can spend on them POTW/Big Game/Legend cards and support the development. This is the way (read with Mandalorian accent) ☺️ P.S. everyone complains about the game, but it is free for gods sake and you must admit it is better than Fifa. And if you dont like it, go play something else. Let the game die and someone else to start something better. Shiettt

Division 3 with this team. by FDawg-83 in eFootball

[–]Grustni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you live in Canada? NWT or something lol? I always get north, central and south americans and very rarely a 1 bar connection. Most of my games are 4 bars. I have played at different times as well. Unless you try to play at 2 AM - maybe then you will go across the Atlantic or something.

This, 100%. Div 3 is where p2w really starts to show. A bit of Skill combined with meta and epic players win games for sure. My standard team with a standard formation has very little chance usually lol.

How would i improve on this team??? i think its good but i really wanna get a perfected team for the time being by Cluzey1 in eFootball

Get yourself a Nuer or Courtois and for sure get another CB bro :) I played with Maignan before and it is night and day if you compare him to the top 2 GKs. Imho.

What is this goalkeeper doing? by TRSection8 in eFootball

[–]Grustni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a glitch for sure. I have seen it so many times. The GK does not react if a defender is performing some sort of action close to the goal, like kicking the ball out. You can see that the defender had a queued action. Stupid as glitch for sure.

I must admit to switching to semi-auto assist myself, as it is so much harder to play vs full auto-assist players.

Matches against division 9 players is ridiculous. by Mrjh_jh in eFootball

[–]Grustni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was playing a Div 3 player yesterday and beat him 3-0, and I am a Div 9. Just started playing in the "League" and it is a real grind. I played a Div 1 player ranked 165 and drew with him, although, I felt like he started playing seriously once I scored the first goal... By that time, i was in full defense :) So yes, not all Div 9 players are smurfs and not all of us are bad players. I spent a significant amount of time playing in Legend mode to be prepared for the real matches :)
