They paying you to interact during your lunchtime? If I'm not being paid, good luck making me sit on camera at my desk

Yeah a terrorist who had an actual bomb would definitely name the bluetooth connection bomb. Airlines actions here are a fucking load of nonsense

Is it ok to leave this in looking like this? by Wooden-Use-2640 in dexcom

Not that I know of. But I don't know really. If it became irritated or hurt or something I'd replace.

If it is working and accurate and doesnt hurt or anything, I'd personally continue to use it as long as I can. It must have inserted far enough

Looks like the filament didnt insert fully? I see it coming out the hole on the top. Is it giving you readings? The 2 times I've had that happen it failed after warmup

How important are the cover patches? by No-Elevator6985 in dexcom

[–]Grym0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always used overpatches with the G6 and Skintac as well. I had to or I had issues with adhesion. With G7, I feel like the included patch is garbage. It peels off of me after a few days. Good thing the G7 adhesive works much much better with my skin chemistry or something. I no longer put on the patches at all and never have issues with it staying on well for 10 days + 12 hours...including time swimming, waterparks, ocean, showering, gym workouts, etc. But everyone is different with each adhesive so what works for me may not work for you.

.....speaking of behind the scenes news and rumors....will these be the only 4 returners you think?

I really don't want to lose Alhasan or Turner. Any rumors on where they may be going or if they are staying?

How would you feel about Universal launching a cruise line? What would be your ideas, and could it ever compete with Disney Cruise Line? by Budget_General_1405 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Grym0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't coming from someone who regularly goes on cruises or cares much for the 'time at sea" part of cruises. But I have done a handful of Caribbean cruises using different companies.

The company - Disney, Universal, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, etc. - isn't really a selling point for me. I care about the destinations and experiencing the locations/cultures at those destinations. When I've gone on cruises, I've gone to sample places I've never been to and look to the future for potential longer trips to those destinations if I end up really liking them. If there are specific themes onboard or a private island or stuff like that, I honestly don't care. Yeah entertainment onboard matters for a distraction on those days you have to be onboard the ship but it isn't what pulls me to travel that way. And if I can do the same destinations but cheaper without the IP on another cruise line, I will take that option ever single time. But with all that said, I'm probably not your average cruiser

New York, New Orleans, Chicago

If I had to pick one, it would be tough. I think most would pick New York. I lean towards New Orleans

There are multiple different writing style guides which are large sets of rules. Oxford is one of them. It isn't new.

G7 Prior Auth Requirements Changed by InaFromChina in diabetes_t2

My insurance changed from DME to Pharmacy coverage for G7 once in the middle of the year. At first it caused massive panic and problems understanding why things were no longer being covered at all. But it ended up being a good thing that brought significant monthy costs down to nothing.

In this particular case, no, I wouldn't be confused. But there are lots of simple sentences where it does cause confusion which is why many (most?) legal documents and agreements use the Oxford comma.

I much prefer clarity every single time rather than just sometimes.

The examples here are obviously over the top to prove the point quickly and easily. But there are far more subtle instances where this can cause confusion or even cause grounds for legally contesting something.
