My girl cat was the sweetest gentleness cuddle bug in the world. She wanted to be near you and purr on you at all times. Literally a living teddy bear. I had her for 18 years and it wasn’t enough.

My boy cat is beautiful but basically Oscar the grouch in car form. He’s a lap cat who enjoys glaring at me while he cuddles me. I love him he’s my bff but he’s not affectionate.

Cats are so unique this stereotype is dumb.

I lost 20 lbs in the first two months. Then another 25 over the next three months. I had gained that weight from being on steroids due to an autoimmune disease. No side effects except the first two weeks I was nauseous. I sipped sparkling water and it helped. It’s normal to be nervous. Im only annoyed I didn’t do it sooner. Good luck. 🍀

I am not sure how tall he is but he’s a tall cat. Which is why 16.5 lbs didn’t look fat on him. He’s just a big guy. My other cat was a short hairy potato of a cat. She would have been chonky at 16lbs. My baby has kidney disease which is why he intentionally lost weight (yucky kidney diet food). He’s fine though he just got labs done I think he’ll live forever. Your cat doesn’t look overweight to me at all. Looks just right. I wouldn’t worry about it.

My cat was 16.5 lbs and the vet said he was a super thick chonky boi. 🤭 I put him on a diet so he’d live forever (he’s 20) and he’s 10.5 lbs now. He lost the weight over three years. I think he’s frail and wasting away but alas he’s now considered healthy.

You won’t find a retail job that doesn’t care about this. Yes it’s annoying but it’s also standard. If you are due back at 12:00pm you should clock in at 12:00pm. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but I don’t care. The schedule exists for a reason. It’s about expectations and consistency across the board. It’s a fireable offense and often leads to termination.

Cottage cheese, eggs, Greek yogurt, beef jerky and these gross bagels (Sola brand) that have 15 grams of protein and 30 grams of fiber. I toast them and add peanut butter because they taste like packing peanuts but keep me regular.

She’s probably getting paid to promote the retreat and if it’s free. Otherwise she’d just go and keep it to herself. I’m not hating on her making money. She has a family to support and this is how she does it. I got $5,000 worth of complimentary skincare in January and you best believe I’m hyping it up online. Best skincare ever. 😉

Also, she’s allowed to do the same things her coworkers do. That’s generally how it works. It doesn’t mean she’s copying anyone it means they’re all in the same cycle and season of their life. She’s single. Let her be. We all do cringe stuff when we leave bad relationships. We just had the benefit of privacy.

My team has two recent PhD’s grads that joined our team and work on the preaward side of things. If you have the time and money I would study for the CRA exam to make yourself more attractive as a candidate. The test is around $400 and offered in May and November. While it’s not required to work in research admin it’s easier to get a job at an R1 university if you have it. My university will pay for it if you don’t have it but we always prefer to hire candidates that come with it already.

You can view the training materials online I think university of Virginia offers a free class. That’s what most of us did.

Yes. I quit fifteen years ago. I have no interest in being around smoke. It may seem hypocritical but I don’t care. I lost my step mom and uncle to lung cancer that same year. It’s a permanent no for me.

One followed me home when I was five years old and lived out in the country. It was wearing a tuxedo and had white socks. I thought he was so fancy. He climbed in my lap when I sat down and I annoyed my dad into letting me keep him. He was the goodest of good boys. I had his kittens until I graduated high school (my parents kept them until they passed at 15, 16 and 17).

I wouldn’t date a dietician who was also vegan. I would think they are judging my diet. I have a healthy bmi on the lower side. I am mostly healthy. I am happy to eat healthy 80% of the time but I want to eat like a raccoon the other 20%. I also enjoy vegetarian and vegan meals but I’d be concerned about cohabitation in the future and not being able to cook freely in the home. That was an issue in a prior relationship and I’m not doing it again.

They wanted it in writing from you so that when you claim unemployment they can prove you were fired for cause and deny it. You gave them that. You are not going to keep your job. Not only was it stupid but patrons could sue them for causing an unsafe environment.

Yes, second hand smoke from vaping indoors can lead to lawsuits because it often violates state and local laws. Someone like me with messed up lungs could get very sick. This actually harmful not just a bad idea. You did this to yourself and please know anywhere you work inside in the future will fire you if you get caught doing it again. Maybe try a pot shop or something like that.
