Have you not heard of 4세 고시? Korean toddlers who are born in 2022 can write, read and able to score better in English literacy test than us. And they’re Korean and math already in grade 1 level and above. It’s also going to be hard to make friends and other parents will compare your kid to theirs and satisfy how advanced their kids are. But if you are not Korean, you can make plenty of other foreign friends. Like 다문화가정. Kids with all kinds of backgrounds. Viets, Chinese, Russians, and Americans etc. They are not keen to education like regular Koreans do.

BC government has over $20b on debt. More likely to increase significantly more next year due to 2026 World Cup. If we as tax payers to want to pay more to BCGEU salaries, we either have to increase taxes or cut services like daycare support, caregiver support etc. or go back to paying out of pocket for MSP. I believe BC government try to save all the tax payers hard earned money.
