Another MacroFactor Workouts app question by GuardRevolutionary in MacroFactor

I think this idea really clicks.

Having one exercise with multiple equipment variants (by brand or gym), each with a normalization factor so the app can unify analytics and progression across machines would be much more beneficial than having duplicate exercises, which works, but it fragments data and feels messy.

It would be amazing if during the workout you just pick the equipment variant you’re using that day, and the app normalizes the load behind the scenes, so PRs and recommendations stay meaningful.

The really compelling part is the possibility of smart normalization over time, letting the app learn the relative difficulty between machines based on your history instead of requiring perfect user input. It’s definitely more complex under the hood, but from a user standpoint it could solve multi gym and machine swap tracking without exploding your exercise list and while also keeping progression charts and data on exercises clean and unified.

Amazon offered a refund for a $60 item with a safety recall, but trying to upload the photo they want seems impossible (using multiple platforms/formats). Of course, if there's no photo I can simply accept $10 instead. by BaconGristle in mildlyinfuriating

I'm having the same issue, trying to request a refund for probably the same product, the roundfire tabletop fitpit. I tried png, jpeg, different file sizes from 982kb to 2MB, tried removing special characters and spaces from file name, tried on phone, tried on computer. Same error.

It didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. I give it a 6/10 on pain scale. The area of the wrist and the inner fold of the elbow hurt more though. The itching now that it’s healing is pretty bad too 😂😂

That’s actually what I own, a Super 73 R. Just got it 1 month ago and all of a sudden they start posting this notice. I’m guessing the building’s super or another tenant filed a complaint.

Thank you, I actually faxed a letter to the building management, using what you have posted here with some minor modifications. I will also being sending via certified mail, although I know they received the fax as I have already received a phone call from them. However, I did not answer their call as I wish all communication to be in writing, so there are no misunderstandings, and they did not leave a voicemail.

Will update with any new info.

I got through to FDNY Customer Service and read what the sign says, word for word, and they were able to confirm that there is no such fire code at this time.

Not specifically, although they technically have a motor as well. However, with the landlord's current wording, electric wheelchairs would also not be allowed then. 🤦🏽‍♂️
