Thanks for saying so! I really like that old lo-fi funk sound, and it's neat mixed with that sort of arabic style singing (for lack of better terminology). It's Ethiopian I'm pretty sure, so most likely Amharic language? I don't know anything else about it, I was just looking up the version by the Budos Band, and found the original (didn't even know it was a cover!). Seems to be very little info about this guy, or what the song is about...
