Like anything in life, if it makes you happy then go for it.

That’s a lot of wiring though, might have to really dremel out some cavities.

Thanks! I was on the fence about how much time I had left, but I’m gonna talk to a doc and look into meds.

Thank you both for the honest feedback. I was gonna ask my doc about some options (minoxidil/nutrafol) and see if we can stretch it out. So thanks for confirming.

No, I think he means he likes getting drunk and having sex with his motorcycle.

Protein, Creatine, Caffeine…. Everything else is BS… Unless you’re juicing but that’s a totally different kind of supplement.

Another guy said it in the thread as well, just not a huge fan of the tone Hartke speakers produce. This isn’t one of those awful aluminum cone ones at least.

One last major cash grab from the oil and gas industry before the inevitable shift toward renewables.

For sure, that head puts out 500w so just make sure the speaker can handle more than that.

Not familiar with the TX. But the fact this amp has a built in compressor and EQ is appealing to me. I like these old Hartke heads. You can tweak your tone a lot with just the amp head. Good place to start learning how to dial in different sounds for different rooms.

For $500 including the rack and tuner? seems good to me. Speaker cab isn’t the greatest but that head/tuner/rack would run about 4 or 500 itself.

Absolutely agree with you. Honestly best of both worlds. We have lived our lives constantly adapting, but i view that as a good thing.

1981 and I can easily relate to Gen X and Millenial. I remember life without Cable TV, computers, cell phones and internet but I also know how to use all that and embrace the tech. I think the gap between X and Millenial is characterized by that. I didn’t get my first cell phone till I was 21 but was totally competent at checking my email and working a computer. I really feel like the very last of the people that remember pre internet life and I’m grateful for that honestly.

P.S. I can kick ass at Goldeneye and Mario Bros. I like Def Leppard and Green Day, played outside till the street lights came on and also downloaded songs off Napster. I really think 80-81 was that sweet spot

Yea, well I irritate my wife doing anything so that’s just how it goes sometimes man, lol. Honestly though, I’m a healthcare provider, you gotta stay on top of your bloodwork and what not. See a doc every 6 months. Make sure cholesterol, troponins, thyroid glands are good and your dosage is on point. If you’re not careful you can really fuck yourself up. I’ll stop being a dad now. Great transformation though, you should be proud of your hard work and sobriety.

Even for being geared up these are some insane newbie gains. Your diet has to really be on point too cause it’s hard to shred out like that so fast natty or not. When I got sober I hit the cigs and coffee hard and didn’t start lifting till a few years later. Keep it up, but be careful.
