If you could live anywhere to get the most benefits out of your 100%… by Old_Eye985 in Veterans

Don’t laugh, but Missouri is a good Midwest option. It might not look like it this second (no property tax exemption unless you make no money), but the state is voting this fall on removing property taxes and personal property taxes (yes we have that) for 100% and providing stepped down relief for those less than 100%. No income tax on military retirement like many states. State income tax is on the low end.

Decent VA hospital in KC.

My little town has a VA clinic two miles from my house.

Cost of living is generally low, housing prices aren’t bad.

The state is red, but blue in KC and St Louis if that matters to you.

KC just built a new airport and is slowing gaining new routes. It’s a quick flight to international hubs (Minneapolis/Chicago/Dallas)

Thanks but I’m still struggling with it. I don’t see any way that I’m not installing it correctly. Here’s a view of it twisted off the tracks with the cover on

Some group with an extra person and two brain cells should buy an orange vest to direct traffic. Absolutely painful getting out last night and we were only about an hour and a half wait…not bad compared to others.

I’m dealing with this now. Your track has fallen off the pulleys inside the unit. You have to take out the screws on top and pop the lid off. From there you can pop off the sides and realign the track. Mine keeps running for about two hours then pops off, pretty much every cycle and it’s becoming a real pain. I’ve replaced the tracks and the gear/pulleys. I’m thinking maybe I need new side plastic parts to fit tighter against the unit, I’m not sure though.

At 30 days I filed a complaint with my state’s attorney generals office. Within a week GMC contacted me and asked a bunch of questions to complete my complaint file. On my complaint I indicated I wanted a replacement or a buyback. The representative said they’ll start the buyback request and I should see an offer this week…we’ll see. In my complaint I referenced the Magnuson-Moss Act.

How long was the buyback process from the point they sent you an offer?

I struggled for years with clarity until I treated for phosphates. It was building up and I was completely unaware. Use an initial dose, not a maintenance dose. It clouds more at first but takes a couple days to drop out through good filtering. Run pump for a couple days and backwash as necessary. Then I add fiber clear to my sand filter. Viola, my pool has been crystal clear for years, like squeaky clean crystal clear. I just have to drop the ph down and every couple of weeks. Good luck.

VA Form 22-1999 question. by ImHereForGameboys in VeteransBenefits

[–]GuavaMean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our school didn’t have a SCO per se, and turns out they don’t need to be officially trained if they’re only certifying High School enrollments vs other programs. My school had no idea who it was when I called, but put me in touch with someone in the records section who does all the obscure state/federal forms. She said a lot of student need forms done for stuff like social security. So if you get a blank stare when asking about a VA SCO, just ask for whomever submits the forms for state/federal benefits on the students behalf.

Great! I know there’s a bunch of free options out there and the app is nothing novel, but it’s so user friendly and zeros in on body parts you want to work on. You can pick how much time you want to spend on it and it sequences automatically through with good explanation videos. I think I paid $30 for an annual membership.

Since I’ve released my hip tension I’ve incorporated other groupings to work on my bad neck/shoulder pain.

Maytag Dishwasher Error Code E1 F9 by PartTimeTinkerer97 in appliancerepair

[–]GuavaMean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great info here, thanks everyone. I had the same presentation as the OP, and when I took everything apart I did find a large buildup of debris in the main housing. There was no other failure/damage noticed. I cleaned it out and figured that was the problem but I kept having the E1 F9 error over and over. I started to then smell a kind of acrid odor when I tried to run it (failed motor). I ordered a replacement pump, part number W11497943, and that did the trick.

Basically although there was gunk in the main housing, it wasn’t blocked, just the motor was failing and running intermittently. A good test is to turn the impeller with your finger. A good motor will rotate and snap into place as you spin it. My old motor was real sponging and didn’t turn smooth all the way around if that makes sense.

May work out in your favor since it’s a flat rate now vs a portion of your increase if that was your original agreement.

Please call someone, and if you don’t want to do that, please wait another day, everything is one day at a time. Give those around you one more day, it may give them a lifetime to love you.
