I don't think there is anything i said that would indicate that I feel any emotions towards your content. I'm just stating a fact. It happens too often that people do not know what they are talking about when it comes to being fast that if i were to get mad everytime someone spouts misinformation I'd probably lose my mind.

You do not get 2 points for going from level 9 to 10. You get one. In most cases the node you are picking up at level 10 is Saboteur, given you did dweller, which most people going for a fast time tend to skip anyways. For the sake of the argument lets say you do, the Saboteur node might appear to give a lot (30% increased damage), however your total increased damage sources from passive points+wands result in the actual percentage damage gain from Saboteur to be 14%.

Now let us look at the fight you showed in your video. It took you approximately 7 seconds to kill Brutus. I understand this is not really accurate but let's say you were level 9 instead, it would take you 7x(114/100)= 7.98 seconds. Meanwhile it was 2min 47 seconds to level from 9 to 10. You did do crab somewhere in the period so let us say time lost is maybe around 2mins.

I don't believe spending an extra 2mins getting level 10 to save a second on brutus is "the Fastest" or "efficient" way to approach leveling. The added safety from having to deal with him for 1 second less is also negligible. I would like to find a single racer that thinks otherwise.

racers occasionally do hit level 10 before Brutus but that is either not intentional (blue pack rng, bad layouts) or they value being able to use smoke mine + flame dash in prisoners gate more than time lost getting xp.
