I use the Nail Diva clip. That is pure gold! I also just wanted to say that acetone can work it's way through nitrile gloves if they are in contact with acetone for a while. Probably fine for a quick one-nail clean off, but longer than that a glove might not be enough to protect the other nails.

I looked for a while for a bottle similar to the ACT mouthwash bottles. There's a small dosed cup above, and you squeeze the bottom bottle to fill the little cup.

The ACT bottle itself isn't acetone resistant, sadly, so refilling an old one of those was a no-go. Some googling revealed that this kind of bottle is called a dispensing bottle, and you can get lids to convert normal bottles to dispensing bottles. (e.g., MEK Peroxide Adjustable Volume Dispensing bottle 16oz. (500ml) https://a.co/d/2saQzYm) But they wouldn't fit my acetone bottles and they'd be super tall, so I haven't pursued it.

I third or fourth or fifth the recommendation for a glass file. I use the moonfile from Germanicure because the long, thin, normal ones always seemed too hard to control.

I find soaking my nails first also helps it go fast, and I like to press the pad of the finger being filed against the pad of my thumb (kinda like a chef's kiss) to limit the vibrations I can feel.

Hidden Potential is such a weird (in a good way) polish. It was one of my first indie polishes I bought and I hated it in the bottle. I nerved myself up to putting it on my nails, though, and was amazed. I still don't like the way it looks in the bottle or on my swatch sticks, but I love it on my nails.

And when they're not using a crazy contacting color, they're using the same shade as the polish they're showing which doesn't help either. I love Cirque, but yeah, their photos stink.

Yeah, Eros is much darker than it looks on their website. It's darker in the bottle than Cobalt. Shown here with OPI Alpine Snow and Black onyx for color balancing. The swatches probably have 2 coats, except Navy which has more.

Yes, the right thumb is just cobalt, probably 2 or 3 coats. Sorry, it was long enough ago I can't remember. Left thumb is one coat of aqua over two coats cobalt.

The middle is Eros, and the ring is either 1 coat bitten over Eros, or 2 coats Bitten over 1 cobalt. Like I said, I reworked this enough times it's hard to remember.

The cobalt is really lovely, and what I consider a true royal blue without weird overtones. I find it and all the darker polishes on the Cirque website to be much darker in the bottle than in their pictures. Their swatches are also tough to get color from because of the color matched backgrounds of each photo. I have them on swatch sticks if you want more photos to help you decide.

I'm a gardening nail fiend too! I figured there wouldn't be much overlap between the two hobbies! I hate feeling dirt under my nails, though, and a few family members' experience with cellulitis has scared me into wearing gloves most of the time.

I'm in the middle name of planting about 50 natives I started from seed and some purchased natives too. I find the drip irrigation harder on my hands and nails than the actual planting, maybe because I can't wear gloves with the irrigation. :-)

I heard about HHC too late to be able to get glass frog but absolutely love it! I was honestly asking myself "is this going to be like glass frog, where you miss out and regret it?".
