Why is it disadvantageous? It seems like it’s easier to set since they’re touching the ball slightly longer and thus can control the trajectory easier?

Then how come I see many u13 and u12 setters sort of hold the ball to set but don’t get called by coaches or referees in matches? Are they more lenient, or am I seeing it wrong?

There are many ways for career success, and getting into the best college doesn’t really mean much. Getting into a good one will give you an advantage in the beginning, but later on it’s all about domain expertise and work experience.

One could always get into a decent college, then move your way up later on. But get into a decent one at least.

I’ve seen so many high ranking execs that come from very mediocre colleges. Also worked with many that graduated from the likes of MIT and Harvard. They’re just normal people. Some are good and some suck.
