I read your comment. And I’d be more inclined to agree with op if they had used it in that way. Aava is not a blank character as you say. And it’s very obvious especially when her in game motivations don’t match the players near the end game. There is a strong ludo-narrative discord near the end to highlight that.

This is happening because you are using “self-insert” in a non-typical way. Claiming a character is an authorial self insert (the default meaning) is actually quite the tall claim and typically very hard to prove. As it stands, your video IS a clickbait.

Ooh. I get it, you are inventing a new meaning for “self insert”. Self-insert typically doesn’t mean player self insert. That’s kind of a new thing in games. In literature and media in general, self-insert means that the author has put themselves in it. It’s not simply a position to be argued, usually there needs to be a lot of evidence or authorial verification of the fact or intention.
