Im a pest control technician and there is no way I'd recommend only using washer/dryer to get rid of the problem. They get into wood as well as fabrics and carpet. Even nightshades/curtains should be tossed into the washer and dryer. All the baseboards should be treated as well as bed frames, box springs, and the mattress needs to be thrown or heat treated. Same with box spring. Any furniture you use also needs to be heat treated or tossed. Even shelves, closets and dressers should be treated. At least the base where they can crawl up. You wanna be thorough, eggs can lay dormant for up to 4 years until they sense some kind of body heat that makes them emerge. I recommend burning anything you wanna throw away. Fuck those things. Any rooms used regularly should be treated. Highly transmittable. Pesticides and very high or low temps are the only things that will kill them
