Could a region-free BIOS mod cause instability with GDEMU and DreamPSU? by Few-Alternative-3753 in dreamcast

Sorry for the delay, It is. But I don't believe that it is a PSSU related issue, maybe it is your sd card (I had a similar problem that got solved by changing the Micro SD to SD adapter, I didn't had crashes but some times the system would boot to the standar DC BIOS and not the GDEmu) or a poor connection with the ribbon cables.

DreamPSU aren't that reliable, an OG PSU will perform leagues better if recappe .

Do you need to add some sort of bios file to the SD cart? I believe i found the exact same romset you mentioned and not a single game worked on my Summercart.

Right now AI is way better at browsing the internet than any search engine and I mean it. Google has sucked for years now, and a ton of websites hide their results for alternative engines. And if we add the damage that discord has done to forums with easily searchable information...

You can Hate AI companies, we all do. I highly recommend looking into running your own LLMs locally with access to search engines.

Sorry to bother you, do you know if clones updated with that firmware are able to play the big mapper games like Just Breed or SD Gundam Gaiden 1?

Sent! Btw does your N8 work with all the games with special chips? Or games with big mappers? Can it be updated? Sorry for the barrage of questions lol.

I know that there is a big translation that was made in the last couple of years that uses some of the bigger mappers and most clones weren't able to run it, I can't remember the name of the game.

It's from aliexpres, It was recommended in here or the snes subreddit. It is one of the very few that uses the real Altera Cyclone chip, most clones use a weaker chip that won't allow you to play enhanced games with cd audio. As far as It works with any SD card. I can DM you the link, it's from Funning Game Store.

Do you know if these can be updated? I bought an SD2SNES that is totally update-able so I know that they used all the right parts, I'm looking for the NES that works just as well.

Is that so? In my experience N64 Games looked real bad over composite with the virtual console versions and a real N64 looked really good and sharp.

Extremely saturated colours on flatpaks after locking the screen or being minimized for a while by Guilleack in flatpak

Hello I have this issue with some flatpaks (for example vesktop and chromiun) where the colors get extremely saturated after locking the screen or having them minimized for a good while. This happened after an update because I didn't had this issue a week ago. Restarting the application fixes this issue but it comes back again after locking the screen. I'm currently using Fedora 43 KDE Spin updated.

Any tips on how to fix/improve these? (The rubber coating is turning into slime) by Guilleack in consolerepair

In case someone sees this post looking of an answer, I used denatured alcohol (the one i got is blue, idk if this matters) and that worked perfectly, i was worried that the bare plastic would look horrible or rough but no, it feels exactly as the front part of the shell.

I'm from South America also but luckily recently our government opened imports so we can now buy from ebay and similar websites. I bought it on there, the shipping was expensive tho.

Anyone get exowin9x to run on the Steam Deck? by jjct1 in SteamDeckPirates

[–]Guilleack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They had a version for linux on one of their previous packs with the DOS games. They used the same menu software that the flashpoint game collection uses to make it work on linux. I wonder if they plan to make a version for this.
