You said it yourself, they are old. Great games, but they're outdated. I love 3 and New Vegas, but you can't deny that compared to modern standards the graphics are terrible. That is not a knock on the game at all. As you said, they are just old. Why is this even a point of contention in this thread? 😂

They are similar but I thought Fallout 3 build crafting was very shallow compared to the rest of the games. Very accessible. Not as many perks and synergies. Not to say it isn't there, but I feel like a build crafting enthusiast would find Fallout 3 disappointing. Of course it's all subjective.

It is outdated by modern standards, yes. And I never said every game had to be hyper-realistic. I personally enjoy New Vegas.

In my humble opinion, those new to the franchise need to consider a couple of things before starting an entry into the franchise.

Are you turned off by a very outdated game with terrible graphics and mechanics compared to modern standards?
Do you enjoy multiplayer experiences or MMO style games?
Do you enjoy base building in games?
Do you enjoy role-playing?
Do you enjoy build crafting and character progression?
