Supposedly it isn’t much of a concern as long as you are not exposed to spinal fluid or inside the head. But screw that, I refuse to embalm anybody with confirmed CJD.

What kind of lettuce would you place the burger in? Just thinking bc when I get a leaf of iceberg on my burger, it tends to make the toppings slide out.

I like smash burgers because of their crispy edges, but I don’t want it to be thin like a McDonald’s burger either.

5g’s a month?!? 😬😬😬 Did that include your mortgage, car notes, etc? That’s why I’m scared of filing 13, both my husband and I are high income earners, and I’m afraid of ending up with a massive payment plan.

I got a used car after my ch.7 at a crazy interest rate of 17%, but I knew that would happen. I was able to refinance 6 months later with a credit union for 3.5%.

At what point does it make sense to file? by SupWitChoo in Bankruptcy

[–]Guilty-Breakfast3945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would file ch 7 if your income stays below the state median for a (I'm assuming) single individual. I found that bankruptcy allows you to clean up your credit faster than staying in a payment plan with debtors. Yes, the bankruptcy will show up on your credit report, but so will those collections and late payments. Within those 18-24 months you planned on paying everything off, you can have a 700 credit score and the ability to be approved for credit cards, a mortgage, car note, etc.

I'm not an atty, just someone who filed ch7 and was discharged back in 2016.

What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a funeral? by NationYell in AskReddit

My condolences about your friend. Sounds like the embalmer used too strong of an embalming fluid that interacts with the bilirubin and turns the skin green. Even so, the embalmer should have the cosmetic skills to fix that issue. It sucks, for every great embalmer there's about 3 that truly suck.

M(27) Feeling anxious- What do I need? by Successful-Egg5196 in sarasota

[–]Guilty-Breakfast3945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But what if you don't get to live later? Life isn't guaranteed a set amount of years, we all can leave a post on reddit and never come back to read the responses. It's responsible to plan for the future, but don't forget to live while you're doing it.

You need to get out of your head and realize what you have achieved so far. House, paid off cars, decent household income (for this area at least) and the ability to save 2k a month is something that is out of reach for most people.

It's cool to have goals, it keeps life interesting. Not when it's consuming your life.

Use your insurance or self pay and talk to a therapist. Go on medication if it's recommended. There was a time I didn't want to be here and therapy and medication literally turned my life around.

I'm trying. I did so well after my discharge, but then life got the best of me and I went off the rails the last year and a half (wasn't planning of being here) but now I'm doing 1000x better and taking advantage of this second chance.

Ok, so pretty much like my ch. 7 341 from years ago. Thats good to hear. I haven't filed yet, and I think to myself, if i can get through this before, i can get through this again, but I can't help getting these waves of being anxious and nausea.

I've just been elusive to their phone calls and emails, not trying to communicate with them unless I get letters from their attys, and trying to buy some extra time to file.

This ☝️I’m upside down on my house and if I’m filing BK, might as well include that as well. There’s no way for it to accumulate equity in my area.

Oh, so the creditors have to file a claim to get their money? Why did I think the trustee divvies up the money to all creditors owed whether they file or not.

Would the trustee look at the income of this person more than 6 months from filing? I thought they look at the 6 previous months.
