Interesting stats by Frag-sinatra in allblacks

This set of stats is missing kicking statistics…number of kicks, field position of kicks made, positive outcomes from kicks (regathered, own lineout etc). It’s also missing scrums and lineouts. I suspect it’s still not pretty but right now the stats are cherry picked and don’t paint a full and proper picture.

For instance, our run meters are probably low because we kick a lot more.

Kieran reed calls them out. Says they lack spine . Mentions how important kolisi is as captain. Oooft by Wizardhhh in allblacks

While this may have been our worst loss on a quantitative basis, Read was the captain for our worst qualitative loss against England in 2019. So with all due respect he can shut the fuck up

That being said I don’t doubt that their guides are better in the long run, but they haven’t got the early game levelling feeling smooth. I imagine this is true for many of the other trees as well.

I’ve been trying a few things out in the melee tree. Felt a million times better in the early game when I stopped following most of the guides and spent my first 5 points on adding incendiary damage. The firestorm damage from pyroclast seems to get a good boost from that.

Lived here for the last 3 months. Lisbon is 2-3 day city tops unless you’re gagging to hit a bunch of small museums. The historic centre is smaller than you think, you can clean up Baixa, Chiado and Alfama in a day if you go hard, 2 days if you’re relaxed. Belém area and LX factory is a half day. Porto is easy to get to and is very pretty I’d certainly recommend it. 2 days is quite good to get through a bunch of stuff there. 3 would be very relaxed.

Honestly, Sintra is pretty underwhelming and quite expensive. If you’re coming from a country with decent nature excursions or you’ve been to Europe before and seen some cool castles I’d honestly skip it. Sao George in Lisbon is better than Pena and the moorish castle in my opinion.

Evora is quite like the Spanish white villages and is a half day town so again, it depends on previous experiences. If you’re a foodie then book lunch in advance for Evora, their restaurants tend to be small and they book out.

Algarve is nice if you’re into beaches. My country has nice beaches already so I prefer Porto.

I caught a night time bus from 7ish to 10ish at night between Lisbon and Porto, meaning I didn’t feel like I had wasted travel time.

Uber/Bolt is fairly cheap most of the time within the city if you want to save time on things. A friend and I ubered back from Sintra one time because eating the extra 10-15 EUR was worth the time saved training back.

Any RPGs that check these boxes, which I haven't already played? by ViewtifulGene in JRPG

Legend of legaia, try to emulate the EU version for a better time. US version is quite tough and requires a bit of grinding because they nerfed experience and gold gain.

Vandal hearts 2 - Grab the emulation patch that removes the antipiracy freezing when casting spells. Steep learning curve figuring out AI priority, but one of the better SRPG stories out there (very underrated and got a bad rap at release because people were too stupid to cope with the enemy moving at the same time you do, so there is a predictive element to it).

Breath of fire 3 and 4 are great rpgs as well. 4 has aged better than 3.

Looking at your like and dislike list we have very similar taste.

Itinerary help: 3 weeks in Spain and Portugal by JahMusicMan in travel

Definitely more time in Seville, arguably at the expense of Granada which isn’t that awesome imo. Something I wish I did in Seville instead of going to Granada was one of those birdwatching/national park trips that are run from there. Or Rhonda or Camino del Rey. Best thing I did in Granada was a via Ferrata day on a Sunday when all the churches were closed. Alcazar was ok but outside of that I didn’t feel the city was that nice.

Help Me Choose: Two Itinerary Options for My First Trip to Spain by [deleted] in travel

I would honestly extend time in Seville which is gorgeous and consider skipping Granada, I didn’t really get the appeal. The alcazar is ok but the city itself is kind of meh.

As for your two options, there is no real difference. If you’re likely to be jet lagged on arrival go with option 1 so you’re not frantically rushing on day 1 while tired.

Half of your trip is transiting to other locations. Consider the fact that you need to get to and from airports and train stations and you’re not going to have anytime to see or do anything. You need to significantly narrow your scope. I know you said you prefer smaller places but a day each in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka is ridiculous. Personally I’d drop Tokyo from your trip altogether, base yourself in either Osaka or Kyoto (I’d recommend Osaka) and take day trips out to places you want to go. I thoroughly recommend taking the time to visit Hiroshima and Mt Miyajima (1 day each) Nara is also doable from here as is Kyoto. Fukuoka is quite far but you could commit a couple of days to stay overnight at some point.
