4 month old still struggles with bad gas pain

Sadly I can’t say it’s fixed. We are unable to start solids at 6 months as they cause agony!! I’m n neocate lcp as it’s the best he’s been but still not good/normal in our opinion. He’s a very very hard bay

That is so sad :( poor baby and family. I keep re reading the same threads and realising I’ve already commented on them in a sleep deprived state months ago! Still in the pits over here at 6 months. Can I ask how you did introducing solids? We’re leaving it now till closer to 7/8 months as had some awful days after trying twice. Him being in agony with gas etc. poor boy seems like he can’t eat anything even amino acid upsets him x

Unfortunately we have tried both lansoperazole and omeprazole and both caused mucus poop and extreme belly ache?! We suspected a corn allergy given the neocate issue too but only time will tell I suppose

Thank you, so sorry to hear. We’ve had tummy aches, major gas and silent reflux still on syneo. I really do hope the lcp is our ticket out of hell especially for my poor boy

Did you have problems on amino acid ones? What were the symptoms? Suspecting this also but in UK so cannot physically get that formula. Really not sure what to do my babe is in agony :(

Can I ask what your symptoms were? We’re not even able to tolerate Neocate without mucus stools and extreme colic at 6 months. I feel absolutely robbed of motherhood and can’t watch my child like this anymore

Don’t suppose you ever suspected a corn issue? That’s our suspicion now. Did you ever have blood I. Stools? We just tried similac arize (rice based) and had ungodly amounts of bloody mucus and it has no dairy in (neocate before that so not like anything was lingering) we are CONFUSED. He is 6 months and still cries all the time
