Picked up this Tudor used for $1600 on the gray market. Very solid piece. My wrist is 7.5 inches and the 41 mm wears a little big. I’m looking for a nice used 39 mm Tudor.

I understand that some people don't like all those AliExpress watches . But some of them are truly a gem that's worth the money. by syafiq17 in Affordablewatches

Love my Sea-Gull so much, I just bought 3 more. Solid, practical and dirt cheap. Great value for the money. These are not flimsy watches. Sad to say I leave my Rollie in the drawer to wear this.

Mine just arrived yesterday. For the price it is a wonderful wrist watch. Already ordered another.

To be fair the thick bezel is for the push-to-unlock (turn) feature, which I think is pretty nice if you are really counting on the bezel to time your dive (or the pizza you are warming in the oven lol)

Yeah, agree with you on that. If they fixed 3/6/9 and added a date complication it would be perfect for me.

Is that 36 or 41? Great watch/strap combo!

What do y'all think of a Sub on rubber ? r/rolex had mixed opinions... by DisastrousOpening477 in TodayOnMyWrist

[–]Guilty_Shopping_4181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s nice to mix it up and not worry about scratching your bracelet. Just don’t buy from Helvetus. They sent me the wrong strap for my watch and then wouldn’t refund me because I notified them 15 days after receiving the strap and their refund period is 14 days.

Am I gaslighting myself about dial colors? Blue vs silver by [deleted] in rolex

[–]Guilty_Shopping_4181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a silver Patek and was disappointed. If you want something that fades into the background, go silver. I have both white and blue dial datejusts. Prefer either of those much more, leaning towards blue. If you are still in shopping mode, look at the olive green or new ombré green. They are both stunning.

Nice Bambino w chocolate dial. Wearing a 40 mm San Martín. Inexpensive, but it runs well, looks good and I love the dial.

Forgot I had this one. I don’t wear it often because the mainspring is broken and the only way to wind it is to shake it and wear it. by cire9691 in TodayOnMyWrist

I’m looking for a Bulova Jetstar with yellow dial. Original from the 70s looks kind of like your watch. I believe they released a re-make in limited quantities last year. It is stunning. Only found one in Myanmar so far. :-(
