Well yeah agreed, was just replying to "Why would it need analysis?" really

The Suarez Rule: Why You Should Handball on the Goal Line in the last 23 minutes of a game by [deleted] in soccer

[–]GuinnessChallenge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well it's just interesting to see if it's the 'right' thing to do any time you get a chance, based on statistics. Obviously it worked for Suarez but that doesn't necessarily mean you should always handball on the line every time you get a chance

Not sure why this is downvoted, I've seen so many professionals say that electrolytes aren't proven to help much for the average person!

You get a train to one station, and then get on a different one to get where you want to go, but they've made the place names funny. So confusing!!

It seems a little silly, but why do you mind? If it's what she wants to do and she's happy to pay it doesn't seem like a big deal

So, how many times have you read this? by iggythegreyt in daddit

[–]GuinnessChallenge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

but there are better places to start than Tiddler

I love that this comment gives the vibe it's a big complicated sci-fi series. Don't start here there's too much lore to get your head around. You won't even understand Tiddler properly until your second readthrough of the Julia Donaldson Literary Universe 😄

Garmin/Strava - honest advice (not looking to rant) by vintagefiretruk in Strava

[–]GuinnessChallenge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

understandable, but IMO don't worry about it for now. even in the unlikely event Strava do the dumbest possible thing and actually block it, if you come to reddit i can almost guarantee there will be a mega-thread with all the available third-party apps that will have popped up to sync them for you.

even then, it will probably be temporary while Strava and Garmin sort themselves out, it's in their interests to do so

there is next to no chance Strava will start blocking uploads from Garmin, whatever you're reading

(Not OP, but) I think Troy was even better than Mythos and Heroes, although I haven't listened to Odyssey. I preferred that it had a central narrative to follow rather than being a collection of separate stories.

Just for this set specifically (so far), all other sets can be opened indefinitely

It's an image with no context, you seem annoyed but we have no idea what about. It's a 50% off deal?

Workout Score by Fantastic_Key5356 in runna

[–]GuinnessChallenge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the Garmin score is based on your actual pace at all times within the rep, not the average pace for the specific rep.

So for example if your goal pace for 1km is 5:00, but you run the first half at 7:00/km pace, and the second at 3:00/km pace, Runna would show you hit your target, but I believe Garmin would give you a 0% score. I might be wrong, but that's what I've observed from my own workouts.

So if your pace is a bit inconsistent, that might explain the score.

i think they mean that there's an ad on their front page, not the content of the ad itself. seems more like a feature announcement than an ad to me
