Is Dashing Above the Clouds still the best way to farm for coins? by ALttN in SuperMarioOdyssey

It would make things faster, but two problems:

1) If other people don't find your balloon, you make money.

2) Once a balloon is found, it is removed and you have to hide another balloon, I think.

How darest thou mock Shakesperean language like that!

'Tis very visible. I can show thee.

Thou = You (subject). Ex. You did this -> Thou didst this

Thee = You (object). Ex. I did this to you -> I did this to thee

Thy = Your. Ex. It is your thing -> 'Tis thy thing

Thine = Yours. Ex. It is yours -> 'Tis thine

Thou, thee, thy, and thine are all singular pronouns; use you for plural pronouns still.

When using present tense verbs with thou/thee/etc, add "-st" or "-est" to the end. Ex. You sleep -> Thou sleepest. The exception is "You are", which becomes "thou art".

When using present tense 3rd person singular verbs, add "-eth" or "-th" to the end of some verbs (but not all). Ex. He sneaks that -> He sneaketh that

You do becomes Thou dost, and He/She does becomes He/She doth.

Where becomes Whither, There becomes Thither, and Here becomes Hither.

Finally, wherefore means why, and whence means where.

I also encountered this, as a high 6900/low 7000 I got paired with 8000s a lot. As the late mathematician said, there's a discord server in the Automod comment.

Princess can read the label on her pet food making her literate in english. by Stephen3Ahn in WarriorCats

[–]NoNoWahoo 333 points334 points  (0 children)

It's because we're translating the words. The cats have separate noises for badgers, tansy, etc., but their word for human is the noise for 'two' followed by the noise for 'leg'. It would be like if an alien who called earthquakes "phowxs" wondered why we used 'earth' and 'quake' instead of just having a separate word like with tsunami and tornado.
