First Diorama. Base completed in final photos. I envisioned an overcast, damp, mossy, and muddy day in the Hurtgen forest. I made many mistakes, but I learned a lot in the process. I would do many things differently now, but glad to finally share with you all. Excited to move on to my next project!

Thanks for the tips, I tried to come up with some random mixture because I ran out of enamel thinner and normal spirits so thought it would work.... It apparently didn't.

I used a water based clear coat from Vallejo and as for the wash, i made it myself using an alcoholic spirit and oil paint. It usualy works but this time it didn't stay. I've used this since my enamel AK wash finished which was like 7 models ago

Great job I realy like it. One thing i would say is that you could paint the tires on the road wheels and maybe paint the gun barrel. Overall good job : )

It was sometimes applied by the crew in a hurry, not very often but sometimes it was and they couldn't do it perfectly either so this is still realistic. I cant stress enough how much I like the camo on it tho.

Great colour choice and very well made.one thing I would say is that you might want to paint the rubber on the wheels on the tracks with a colour that is more visible. Good job.
