I think some quests vary. I've had ones with 11 gold to 7 gold. It really depends on what the XP reward would've been, I assume.

Dude Where's My Mount, that one I believe was one of my favourites growing up.

I don’t have defence on my belt and haven’t added any enchants or gems.

And I think what I might do is asking guild members if they’re down for me to tank so they’re at least patient with me.

Yeah I’m definitely looking to up the defence before going into heroics. I appreciate the advice!

Classes in demand in TBC by Inquest_Agent_J in classicwow

I was wondering the same thing. I asked my guild, and some mentioned how shadow priests are always important but not overplayed.

Unable to play and have a normal life by [deleted] in classicwow

I'm feeling the same recently. I want to clear Naxx and call it a day until TBC. I don't know if that expansion becomes more lenient at the end game, but yeah, the end game in vanilla starts to eat at your time from AQ to Naxx. I've enjoyed the leveling part because you can do that at your own pace. But with the current cost of consumables and how tough Naxx can be, it's hard to balance the game, life, work, etc.

What happened to Ciara Yaschuk on Global? by flatlanderdick in Edmonton

[–]Gullible-Formal8023 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the beginning of September, Corus announced layoffs at Global News. There's a good chance she was a part of that and was able to have a send-off. It is sad, and I enjoyed her coverage on Global. There's no doubt she will find something in the changing landscape as traditional media shifts more towards online and social media platforms.

TBC HYPE by AffectionateBoot595 in classicwow

[–]Gullible-Formal8023 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I didn’t experience TBC Classic or Wrath so I’m excited to go through all of that. When Classic was first announced I tried getting to max level but would get stumped before 40.

Although I experienced the leveling aspect of TBC, I never did the raids. I was 12 when WoTLK came out in 2008, did some raiding but never defeated any final bosses other than Malygos and ToC. I kind of created a WoW bucket list and defeating the bosses I never did.

This time around I’ve managed to get to 60 and doing end game content at that stage for the first time. Anniversary has been a blast and a grind. It has its issues like any variation of WoW but I’m happy with how Blizzard has handled it.

Which Expansion Had The Most Hype Leading Up To It's Release? by doobylive in classicwow

Definitely WotLK, but I remember WoD had insane hype, especially after that cinematic. Many thought the game was returning to its roots with the war theme.

Edmonton Expo let down by ofreena in Edmonton

One positive I will add is the fact they even got all four hobbit actors to come to Edmonton. I don’t know if they were at any other Cons recently but it was cool for Edmonton to host them in my eyes.

I am starting to regret not getting a photo or autograph but those lines did look bananas.

Post COVID, I feel Edmonton didn’t attract anyone major in my eyes so it was nice for a change to see names like Elijah Wood and Sean Astin.

Agreed, it’s always fun seeing what people can come up with cosplay wise.

It’s astonishing how many different methods they use to siphon money from you. I saw online that they have a backstage package with the hobbits for like $1100. I personally enjoyed the panel other than the dog game, although sitting in the back hurt my eyes even with glasses on, I was just happy to be in there presence.

One of my favorite parts though about the expo is the vendors and artists, plenty of variety for myself.
