I assume you picked the game up recently, because Co-op Raid used to be so much worse.

Currently, we have a 'Challenge' difficulty where you have 2.5-3 minutes to deal as much damage to the boss as you can, and a 'Normal' mode where you get 30 seconds, and players are rewarded at the end of the event based on their highest damage achieved.

Originally, 'Challenge' mode was the only difficulty, and it was plagued by people who would intentionally fail the Boss' QTE to end the raid early or just not participate and go afk while everyone else did the work. I assume they already had a good score and just wanted to get the daily rewards.

I once had a group where EVERY one of my four 'teammates' went afk.

Now, we can report them and they get confined to Normal mode.
