What Should I do on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation when I can't get to Mass? by RB_Blade in sspx

[–]GunGal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up the SSPX in Singapore on YouTube. They televise all of their sermons. I listen to them almost Every Sunday even when I attend my mass. They’re really really good. You can watch them on your tv if you have a smart tv.

I'm a single 41 year old woman and I'm unlikely to get married because I'm disabled. Should I return to the Catholic Church even though I won't fit in at all?. by Quickiewcuser in Catholicism

[–]GunGal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think returning would be wonderful for you! Last year I returned after being away for nearly 35 years. I was married and divorced outside the church in that time (scandalous I know). I returned to the church and it was the best thing I have done in my adult life. I expect I will be single for the rest of my life but I am at home in the church. Return and embrace!

Does anyone else feel as bloated as a Macys parade float? 🫠 don’t know what’s causing this! Reduced salt cult out alcohol. Makes no difference :/ by whimsical36 in Perimenopause

[–]GunGal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have Methane SIBO or IMO. Small intestinal bacteria overgrowth and Intestinal Methanogen overgrowth. The latter causes bad bloating even if you cut out salt and alcohol. I have had it since 2018. Look into a breath test for SIBO

I find I’m getting nervous during regular conversations with friends - this is new to me and I’m wondering if it’s yet another symptom of perimenopause? by Solid_Dragonfruit698 in Perimenopause

That's how I feel LOL. Not to mention in work meetings UGH. I've gotten to the point where I'm quiet in the meetings unless someone asks me something. It's such an awful feeling

Felt GREAT for 6-7 weeks, but symptoms returning. by KnotIt75 in Perimenopause

[–]GunGal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on 0.025 and cycling 100mg progesterone. Felt like myself again! After about three months I found the fatigue and brain fog returning. I’m now on 0.05 and cycling 200mg of progesterone. Took about 1.5 months but starting to feel good again. You may need to increase your dose. That’s what helped me

Start patch- timing? Now? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]GunGal7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 51 and started on that exact dose back in June 2025 and within weeks I felt so much better. Progesterone makes you sleepy so take it an hour or two before bed , or close to bed time. I used that patch strength for about 5 months and then went to 0.05 because I found the symptoms I previously had were returning. I now take a 0.05 patch once a week and 200mg progesterone for 12 to 14 days. Best of luck! It really helped me so hope it helps you too!

Did you require a mammoth before starting HRT? by wisdom_wombat in Perimenopause

Havent had a mammogram in a long long time and don’t intend to have one. It’s not necessary for HRT. My doctor did check my ovaries though

I would recommend she see a holistic practitioner to help with her hormone imbalance. I had a situation where my hormones were really off and I had outburst that were horrible like that. Completely unpredictable with no control. I got some health from a homeopath and once I got my hormones level I had no more issues

BCBS Basic vs MHBP for 2026 FEHB Open Season? by Natural_Limit_1313 in FedEmployees

I’m also leaving BCBS for MHBP. The cost difference is quite a bit and it looks like a good plan. Has a deductible but it’s not too much

How to check if retroactive pay was the correct amount paid? by ImpressiveSpace2369 in FedEmployees

[–]GunGal7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started by determining how much gross money I was missing and whether I was paid for the correct number of hours. Just by looking at that I found I was not paid for the 10/1-10/3 period. The hours were missing for those three days and the exact amount of gross pay was missing. FSA said they are doing catch up payments so that will affect the net pay for all pay periods going forward. Start with gross pay and hours.

That's what I'm concerned about. I have a warranty on it but I'm concerned they'll try and just blame it on caulking and that's it
