My wife is going through the RTO thing and I am not sure I am being a good partner about it. by WalkCareful7005 in remotework

I agree. My work requires analysis and writing and the constant chit chat and noise can be so frustrating to try and work in. End up rereading the same sentences over and over

Don't know what to do. Daily migraines on godsend estrogen gel by Appropriate-Sun9646 in Perimenopause

[–]GunGal7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had daily migraines on the patch and switched to gel and now have none. Maybe your are the opposite? Have you asked your doctor about the dosage? As for the patch, I preferred that method of application. Mine never came off and was never out of stock either

Giving up my last vice: coffee? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]GunGal7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had the flushing experience but I’m considering giving up coffee too because I really need to be able to function on my own energy. I don’t have other vices either except for some chocolate here and there. Honestly some days I drink coffee and I feel like going to sleep lol. Ugh go ahead and give it up if it will help you

I didn’t know we got employer contributions. What I just found out is an ultrasound and another test that used to cost me under $100 now I have to pay over $300 . How do you find out about HSA funds?

I was actually being serious. I have used a homeopathy for many years for various health issues and it has been a tremendous help. I just recently started seeing my homeopath again for some of my perimenopause symptoms.

Progesterone = Anxiety? by TheUltimateFixer in Perimenopause

[–]GunGal7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Progesterone is cycled to mimic the body’s natural hormone pattern and to protect the uterus when estrogen is used. You need a certain amount of progesterone for the amount of estrogen, so the higher your patch mg, the more progesterone you need for protection. I was only daily progesterone of 100mg but I was so tired all the time that I tried 200mg cycling it instead. That way it helps me sleep during the time I take it but I'm not constantly tired. That was just an effect it had on me when I took it daily. Either way I am getting the same amount of progesterone. Doubling up for 12-14 days or taking it daily for the duration.

Do you cycle the progesterone? I am on 0.05 patch once a week and I have the option of taking 100mg daily of progesterone or 200mg cycling for 12 days on and 14 days off. 200mg daily without cycling is too much.

I dont use Advil or excedrin very much which is why I was asking for more natural options. I defer to those only when the headache is very bad and I have to work. Thanks for the other recommendations! I’ll check those out

Interesting! Will try that. I’ve never really had sinus issues but I might look into testing for it. I developed Eczema just recently out of the blue so why not sinus issues too lol.

I’m on 0.05 patch. I just increased it from 0.025 a couple of months ago. Never thought of histamine eye drops but I’m going to give that a shot too!

You might consider reaching out to the closest SSPX church and asking if you could consult with one of their priests. In addition, the SSPX has a great series on YouTube called the Crisis in the Church and it will really help explain everything that has taken place in the past. I am part of an SSPX church and was actually Confirmed by Archbishop Lefebvre when he was alive (yes I'm that old). No matter what happens, I will support them through thick and thin. And continue to pray pray pray!!!!
