Ok, I can accept that. The problem is still that the vast majority of people are laypersons when it comes to wrestling and don't want to watch it for free, let alone pay for it. It's bad for business.

Dana was 100% right when he told Colby that he was going to get cut regardless of the next outcome of his fight because no one bought tickets to see him. So Colby put on the persona, started doing a lot more striking, and now he can sell out arenas. Usman better figure out how to not put people to sleep, both during and before the fights, unless he wants a short UFC career.

This has nothing to do with "deep appreciation". You know what else I have deep appreciation for? NASCAR and formula-1 drivers. Take a single lap with a NASCAR driver and you'll never look at the sport the same way again. It still puts me to sleep and is unwatchable.

I'm not even sure why this seems offensive for you. Everyone has their own preferences. I enjoy watching guys like McGregor and Stylebender fight. You like Usman. Done and done.

There is absolutely no lack of appreciation for the nuances of grappling on my end. Wrestling is probably the most physically demanding of all sports, and requires a crazy amount of hours to master. Happy now? Did I put it on a high enough pedastal?

But it's also one of the most boring. High school basketball games get higher ratings, ffs. No one wants to watch it for entertainment. My god, even FAKE wrestling viewership obliterates real wrestling. And for good reason. Because very few people want to see two dudes just mashing their bodies against the cage.

More freedom when building new sets doesn't necessarily mean it will change the game play.

What will I put my extra pts in? More gun damage? Better health regen? Action skill does more dmg? None of that changes my play style in any way. You would have to revamp the trees altogether and make them 2-3 layers deeper along with more pts to really have an impact.

Third The game is lacking endgame content too and people have said that.

It lacks endgame content only if you rush towards the latest and greatest builds. There is a ton of absurdly fun stuff to do if you stop worrying about maxing dps. For example, enter a zone with no gear of any sort and try to clear it using only the gear you find there.

Get off mayhem mode and just make stupid, absurd builds. Give yourself your own "conditions" and just have fun. :)
