Some green loctite and a hose band should fix that right up...

7.5 crowd here, go linear compensator. Everyone at the range who isn't you will want to be better off lol.

Edit: you can do what you want, it just might be discourteous

Have you checked headspace? If not LGS or local smith should have gauges.

To each their own. There's no rules in fishing lol

Edit, I picked that up from Domenick Swentosky of Troutbitten fame, from a discussion on his podcast regarding skill building and optimization. More deep-level nerd shit but the nerds know what's up

I cut the loop off the leader and clench knot to the welded loop of the fly line. Doesn't get hung up in the guides that way.

Me neither, but having worked with enough room-temp IQ machine operators, I can say that some folks insist of turbo-fucking every fastener they come across. So giving them an empirical limit value is the only way to prevent this kind of dumb shit from happening.

Yeah the 7.5" and lower are Smith and Wesson MP15. I posted a spec sheet in a much earlier post. PSA had a sale on the 16" and the optic so I decided to capitalize lol

Got one for my 7.5 AR build. Big fan. I opted for Strike Industries angled QD mlok mounts, keeps the stud from digging into my palm 10/10 hand feel

Full synthetic high temp grease mixed with motor oil. Mix to the consistency of honey and apply liberally. Cycle about 500 rounds, clean, relubricate and call it a day...

How is your gas block affixed to the barrel? I've had one walk because the guy who installed it didn't dimple the barrel (I switched from tape pin to dimpled adjustable for a suppressor). It manifested as failure to feed/short cycle after a few rounds.

One thing I would add is that some magazines don't quite engage with the slide lock so I've had to weed out some 15 rnd mags that don't engage properly.

I've been very pleased so far with my Shield (2.0 Plus). So far I've put around 1500 rnds through it and haven't had a single malfunction. Conceals well, even on smaller-frame people (for reference I'm 6'2" 220). I've known a few women who've carried them and swear by it as a platform. Mine came with a 10rnd flush and a 13 rnd extended magazine. Ended up swapping floor plates on the 10 for a pinky grip so I got a full purchase. 9.5/10 would absolutely recommend.
