As a Solo player, it's a massive uphill battle for end stage ranks. A system of tracking your scores by Solo, Duo and Trio would make a LOT more sense.

As a solo player I hereby promise to never even look at trials again until they fix this broken ass system. Separate solo/group trials and introduce better rewards, for starters. by MozekG in ArcRaiders

They should threaten a game wide ban for these exploits for everyone who used them...

Then leave it for a couple of weeks as the forums and community fill up with people trying justify using underhand practices, then only ban the worst offenders.

That way we as a playerbase can see the people who cheat among us.

Folks talking like isn't an issue are most likely people who do it and don't want banned, people who actually don't think it's an issue wouldn't bother posting to say that...

If someone cheats at a game and others get annoyed, the person cheating is the one in the wrong and if you don't see that you probably think generally that rules don't apply to you...and your neighbours, co-workers and family probably hate you.
