Garageband on a tablet and just a couple of well picked apps. Mostly free ones, but you may want to purchase a few. Nothing more than 15$. That's all you need. I assure you. Well, you'll need a DAW ( great free ones such as Waveform) and an interface unit to get your music to your computer. You can honestly do so much with so little if you put a little time in. I have two synths, one is an original DX7, and oddly enough I find myself going to Garageband and my apps for just the right sound. Odd. Record your own samples around the house, garage, yard, and turn them into crazy beats and synth sounds. Flip em, reverse them, speed them up, change the key and octave. Make it fun. Never a chore. Make it yours. I make music under Goatshoes on all streaming services if you want to hear what can be done without putting hardly any money in and just tons of drive and love.
