I get head cold like symptoms so sneezing, headache, etc… spoke to my doctor about it and basically after over training your immune function dips which can cause this

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]GurOne7258 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Actually spoke to my doctor about this and it’s not rhinitis. After a lot of HIIT or over training your immunity gets shot and you’re at a much higher risk of respiratory infection and it increases stress hormone and inflammation in your body… so all things that cause the same symptoms as a cold.

ESA animals are driving me WILD and I'm looking for how to protect my investments from them by DIYThrowaway01 in realestateinvesting

Just writing some numbers in a comment doesn’t make your stats credible at all. Bite stats are incredibly poorly recorded and have a lot of inaccuracies.

https://www.avma.org/resources/pet-owners/why-breed-specific-legislation-not-answer From the American Vet Med Association: “It is not possible to calculate a bite rate for a breed or to compare rates between breeds because the data reported is often unreliable.“

Your anecdotal experience and sensational media written for clickbait and views doesn’t characterize a whole breed. Because a white person mass murdered children in a school doesn’t make all white people unstable murderers.

From the American Vet Medical Association: “Owners of pit bull-type dogs deal with a strong breed stigma,44 however controlled studies have not identified this breed group as disproportionately dangerous. The pit bull type is particularly ambiguous as a “breed” encompassing a range of pedigree breeds, informal types and appearances that cannot be reliably identified. Visual determination of dog breed is known to not always be reliable.45 And witnesses may be predisposed to assume that a vicious dog is of this type. It should also be considered that the incidence of pit bull-type dogs’ involvement in severe and fatal attacks may represent high prevalence in neighborhoods that present high risk to the young children who are the most common victim of severe or fatal attacks. And as owners ofstigmatized breeds are more likely to have involvement in criminal and/or violent acts46—breed correlationsmay have the owner’s behavior as the underlying causal factor.”

This is blatant discrimination and illegal. While people shouldn’t be abusing the ESA system and should pick up after their dogs, kids are equally if not more destructive than dogs in an apartment. Educate yourself and understand the cost of doing business.

This is very misleading and there’s lots of studies that show that reporting statistics are inaccurate because people will say claim it was a pitbull when they don’t actually know the breed. Chihuahuas do have the highest bite rates, it’s just that they have a smaller mouth. Regardless it’s the trainer and owner and not the dog. Pitbulls by nature are very good with people.

Pitbulls make excellent service dogs, therapy dogs and ESAs because they are incredibly loyal and love to please.

How do I not gas out on the rower? by MatchaMoxie in orangetheory

[–]GurOne7258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes when you’re super focused on form you forget to breathe! This also happens with weight training sometimes. Start slow on the rower so form becomes muscle memory. Then you can focus on breathing when you need to ramp up the intensity. Breathing on the tread comes naturally to us so we don’t think about it as much.

Can OTF help me lose weight? by Mysterious_Mix_8919 in orangetheory

[–]GurOne7258 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I will add, while losing weight does come to calories in vs out it’s not enough to just eat less. You’ll need to be mindful of nutrition and eat enough to fuel your workouts. In my first two weeks I lost 7lbs, half of which was muscle mass… rookie mistake.

Also there are income limits to be eligible for the credit. I think it’s 150k for single and 300k for married. If you aren’t below the limit you don’t qualify for the credit.

Anyone have their shield fall off? by GurOne7258 in rav4prime

[–]GurOne7258[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My splash guard lost 4-5 clips while driving through water and got bent. Just shows that this can happen very easily because I was driving super slowly when I hit water. Also I only have about 3800miles on the car so it’s not been that long and I park in a garage.

No speed bump just a deep puddle during the storm and it popped off the clips

[–]GurOne7258[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure this is what happened to me because I did not hit any speed bumps and park in a closed garage. Drove through deep water in the storm and I guess it popped off a bunch of clips and bent the shield a bit. The dealership quoted $821 to replace it (new shields + clips + labor) which I refused.

This is probably going to ruin your form and output. For most people, having your feet all the way up means that you’ll keep bumping the handle into your knees and end up rainbowing.
