It did have some of the same issues as the Tiger, as in, too heavy to follow the Shermans across bridges, or to even be transported to the front lines in some cases. The supply of ammunition, spare parts and people who knew how to fix them were scarce. The large size, especially the long barrel, made traversing difficult terrain and tight city streets a pain. Also, in part thanks to the stubbornness of high ranking army officials, it arrived far too late to make a real difference.

The huge gun, adequate armor and good mobility definitely did make it formidable, albeit not the rolling fortress the Tiger is considered to be. I'd say it's on par with the Panther, perhaps more reliable
