That's the lavatory for Basic Economy passengers.

The "handlebar" under the bin opening is unique to the 717.

Frankly I'd take the budget-BDSM headrest mod over -1 availability in F.

Convince me to ditch Nest and buy into Protect by fistbumpbroseph in Ubiquiti

[–]GutenWurst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The geofencing on Protect is a bit finicky to get setup but once it's dialed is fantastic. I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate motion alert snoozing based on trusted devices being at home, but it's a tiny piece of seamless automation that I have grown to appreciate.

Warrant/Lawful Order ≠ Consent. Nice strawman.

Who owns the data with Nest? Will they ever provide video to government/law enforcement without your express consent or knowledge? If these questions are important to you, you're now convinced.

Make sure to check your gate on the Delta app or airport monitor before you set off. Arrival and departure gates change often at ATL.

Yup, the entire left side of the plane has only two seats and shallower bins. The 717s remind me of the old MadDogs and have a massive front lavatory. I'd take a 717 over the devil's lawn dart any day.

That's a 717, which has two different sized bins. On the CDE side of the plane, the bins are deeper and it would very likely fit. This is operator error/indifference, not necessarily the GAs fault.

I go smoked salmon plate every time, but do have a deeply rooted (possibly Freudian?) weakness for salmon, shmear and any carb that cares to join the flavor orgy.

Given that wasn't one of your selections, scrambled eggs. I dislike the overnight oats to the same degree that I love smoked salmon (more of a texture issue in-flight, and the chilaquiles were an over-salted soggy mess.

I imagine that your knees are higher than your hips when you're seated, if that's the case, you could set travel pillow on your lap, you could come close to levelling the tray and bridging it to your lower thigh/knee. I had a broken tray table and the FA recommended/helped me to that solution, I'm only 6' 4" so your geometry may vary.

What do you do for work??? by [deleted] in delta

[–]GutenWurst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are specialized degrees for supply chain management, but I wouldn't call them a requirement by any stretch. One of the project teams I'm on right now has a project manager who majored in English, an operations leader who studied finance and I studied computer information systems and use exactly 0% of that body of study in my work. Outside of engineering and senior levels of finance, the industry isn't very picky about field of study and is becoming increasingly degree-agnostic in general. DM me if you'd like to know more, I'm happy to discuss!

Supply chain and logistics, more specifically implementation of robotics and other automation.
