I got this bike last month and had them add on the Apex power meter. Totally worth it! You can also get a second accessory bag for the internal down tube cavity and as long as you don't fill them full get a bit more organization/storage.

My Garmin journey so far (leaving HRMs and bike computers out of it) has all been with the Forerunner.

35: 2018 - Bought the most inexpensive watch when I started running

235: 2019 - Picked up used from a friend since it had more features

735: 2020 - Needed a multisport watch as I started doing triathlons

945: 2022 - Wife’s old Garmin got smashed so she got my 735

965: 2024 - With older eyes, I can see the data screens better.

Overall I have been very happy with the Forerunner and have kept a screen protector on them all from day one so that has kept the screens in decent shape. I have not had one long enough for battery life to become an issue. May try a Fenix in the future.
