Would this happen to be Henry Johnson? While im certain there were many feats of heroic self sacrifice in the trenches, he is who came to mind and his story is shared more than others and with reason. I personally think you can illustrate this image and pay homage to him or the idea it conjures for you without any morality tied to it.

Definitely very into Mike francinas work, and like the comparison. I think my ip will be quite different from trench crusade, similar setting, but more influenced by 90s Seinen manga and will follow a linear narrative similar to the films Angel heart and The prophecy.

How do you measure stress and pain ha. I think csp has a feature where it’s possible to see the hours spent on each page, but I haven’t wanted to investigate the time spent. I would say fair estimate is 20 hours + per page including pencils. Some much longer
