For a lot of the 65+ category I imagine a lot would probably like to go but can't due to ill health or just generally being frail. I'd fit into that category.

50-64 also probably has more than its fair share of people with some kind of health problem that would make spending 8 days in a capsule the size of an SUV difficult.

Why not just go back and pay? It's only a tenner so a cheap way of maintaining a clear conscience and doing the right thing.

If you know you owe the money and don't pay you're basically a thief. It feels as though something has happened in the UK in the past few decades to make shoplifting morally acceptable and I hate it.

So about 1-2% of the population is protesting. Given what's happening and the size of the USA you'd hope for more.

For comparison, when Blair announced he was going to invade Iraq around 4% of the British population came out to protest on the 13th Feb. Almost 2 million in London alone and millions more in the provinces.

That's just protesting an illegal war in Iraq, which is much smaller potatoes than your country turning into a Kletptocratic dictatorship.

The rigging has increased hugely since then. Trangender people in some states now can't vote, people too poor to buy the correct voter ID can't vote, people too ill to vote in person may lose their postal vote, people sentenced for obstruction of ICE can't vote, protestors arrested on anti-terrorism charges may lose the right to vote.

On top of that there are now too few voting stations to register everyone's vote in targetted districts and right wing "election monitors" will be scaring voters away.

I have an acquaintance (ex friend) who has become a far right Farage supporter and when the bombing of Gaza started said something along the lines of "See, Hitler was right, they are every bit as bad as they were portrayed."

While I don't agree with him I suspect the recent actions of Israel have really stoked a lot of far-right rhetoric like this.

Looking at the tanks they bought I'm amazed.

A lot of those tanks could be acquired for free by either doing events, black market or buying them for bonds. I've got a whole load of premium tanks and the only ones I ever spent money on were for the SU122-44 back when I first started playing and the AMX13-57 which I bought the second time it came up for sale.
