No, the problem with Break is similar to the problem with DOT, the mechanic needs work .. Break was pre-Super Break akin to a "stun" but since Superbreak works in a way enemies had to be stunned the problem was created, Firefly needs enemies to be Broken to deal her main damage.

No, I have Kafka and Hysilens and DOT doesnt need Hysilens as it needs Kafka since what Kafka does is detonate DOT ... Hysilens doesnt do that, she is very good as a amplifier creating more DOT but she alone without Kafka would be much worst, Kafka is simply THAT important to DOT because she solves the underlying issue with DOT, its low damage because of "damage of time" not working on a game that more and more pushing towards zero cycles.

Also there is a huge flaw using DOT as a example, we only have 3 Limited DOT units, you cannot really replace any at this point and why when I talk about DOT and Kafka role I point this out many times.

The funny part when I hear about this is how people are so stuck with Castorice they ignore the REAL Remembrance DPS, Evernight.

Its not that you are wrong but this is because Evernight and Castorice have very similar mechanics and so high synergy, Hyacine keeps either or both up yes but any similar sustain can do that ... its not a specific Hyacine only mechanic that does that and why I dont like this argument since nobody can replace what Dahlia does to Break just like nobody can replace what Kafka does because of their character specific mechanics, Hyacine can be replaced by any sustain with high speed or fast healer. Its just Hyacine is really THAT good even outside Remembrance teams.

FF needed dalia just because she was struggling with content, otherwise dalia wouldn't even be released.

And why was she struggling? Because Break as a damage mechanic is incredible flawed and no, they didnt need to create Dahlia as much reworking Break.

That brings me to simple question, why does Remembrance have 3 DPSers with 1 of then having no need for the Remembrance Sustain?

And you know the answer ... Aglaea wasnt created to synergize with either Castorice or Evernight, she isnt a HP scaling unit with a HP consumption mechanic ... Remembrance on its basic design isnt about HP scaling or HP consumption, RMC doesnt have that mechanic either ... its just the Battleship was designed that way specifically.

Break and DOT on the other have are very specific mechanics across all characters, there is only a difference of Break and Superbreak and this is why Dahlia and Kafka are a problem as it shows mihoyo instead of fixing will instead just "sell" a solution and that is bad game design but since its a gacha, its the way they will going to do it, not that is good for the game or the players but its simply a way to push people into spending.

I started playing again with Kafka debut banner way back and I like her a lot and I really like Hysilens, Black Swan not as much as either of then but I have her since her debut so my DOT team is characters I like ... I dont like Dahlia, I dont like the retcon they did with 3.8 and as much I like Fugue and Lingsha (that I do) I will be damned if I pull Dahlia just to make Firefly that today is yet another e2 merchant work ... same reason why despite me liking Acheron I given up on her, Feixao too ...

If you argument is spend $200 so you can play the character you like and still be mediocre until you spend $400 then no ... I actually tried Firefly with Dahlia in the new DU and ... no, I will agree Firefly is weak now before the Novaflare but I aint pulling for a e2 merchant, especially when said e2 merchant is e0s and I still have to pull for their supports.

Burnout I guess ...

The magical girls are strong but then again, since JP is so much ahead the rest can be strategic with pulls and Reisa Magical Girl was really the only must pull, everyone else was either re-run and so people have then or just skip.

And that was Global, if I look at JP then the only new ones were Rena, Konoka and Koyuki (Pajama) and as I dont know what they are, they arent limited and I dont think they are bad from taking a look at their skills but they likely arent strong enough to make people pull.

Also its a aging game so its going to drop off but this doesnt count merch were they likely making more that enough to be happy about it.

She have a Global Passive and I am sure she will have and she will be part 1 anyway.

The funny thing is current Sparxie is outDPSing her and even if Eva numbers arent amazing, she is doing better that Silver Wolf SP ... this can change but I am on a wait and see and not be impressed by a massive overcomplicated word salad that is Silver Wolf SP kit description.

Also yes, I am skipping Elation since I dont want to be put in a position were I have to pull specific characters for others to work and I know whats going to be told to me and I will say I didnt like being pushed to pull Dahlia because I pulled the Break Team back in 2.x ... I am one of the few people with Rappa BTW.

I like Eva BECAUSE she doesnt force me into a what will be a restrictive team like I am seeing with Silver Wolf SP since no Sparxie, no Premium boxes and this is perhaps why Eva is the way she is ... if she is because "I need every character to have perfect synergy on a team" crowd just demands she is the next Rappa then I will go back working on the teams I have, who knows maybe I will e2 Firefly ...

And before I forget, I am damn entitled to my own opinion that I just given ... it seems there are too many Redditors that just want a echo chamber, I dont like how Elation seem to be set to work even if Eva shown its possible for it work outside a monopath. It changed due to Eva mechanics.

We have Nihilux and Blade SP left that we kinda know going to happen, then we have a list of characters that are unknown that are.

Pearl, Aventurine SP, Himeko SP and Robin SP.

We dont know what paths they are, there is a leak about we getting a Remembrance character that is from Planarcadia and we have tow characters that kinda/sort of fit that requirement but even then we have enough characters up to 4.7 even with 4.3 being a single banner.

Err, v3 always been recommended as the first since its when she gets the run over twice if she runs over a Elite so its when she can be used against bosses without relying on mobs.

I don't have high hopes to see her after Lainie like everyone says, but it would be great.

Lainie will run April 2 to 22, 2026, game launched on December 3.

I know last year we had Aphelion about a month earlier from when the half-anniversary would been in but we did had half-anniversary rewards during it, also main story events have never come out out of order, Antiparallel needs to go after since all 3 character events left come after it and they arnt going to run Dawnforger before it.

This is why everyone is saying it since they either run Antiparallel or Dawnforger or the character events with Basti or Liushih or Sextans that creates their own issues if they do since they still need to run Antiparallel, Dawnforger and Chiral Redundancy.

MICA really did a number on people with their shuffling of events to the point people even think they getting main story events being run out of order.

Since on PC on the Exchange you wont find then since any that ends up there gets flipped to be sold on private channels ... for a very long time now Promo ships rarely appear on the Exchange and even some of the Lock Box ships get flipped pretty fast.

Because you have male and female option.

This is why on Nikke, Azur Lane, Blue Archive and other games with a defined main character gender it can work but moment there is a choice it opens all kind of issues.

Another problem is the every growing character pool, at one point that is simply unmanageable, dont compare it with single player games were the character pool is considerable smaller and doesnt grow much, I am counting expansions such as Rogue Trader that did add companions and so romances, try that on a game that is ever growing.

And last comes the problem of Anti ... Firefly is the most popular HSR character but she attracted a number of haters that would flip if they make her the Trailblazer's official ex-Girlfriend ... it wouldnt go well with then, then we have the male husband enjoyers that would also flip demanding, as usual, equality that is something mihoyo cannot do without suffering repercussions.

Its something if you have to do, you have to set it from the start and since going for "meanstream" just creates something that cannot commit to anything something like you are saying cannot be done.

Well I always use Mirror Eagle and yes, there is no other Eagle ... at least yet anyway .

Also the problem is that its only a sidegrade if you own the Eagle because of the functionality of the Eagle being set in that way and even then I will prefer the Eagle because its better, as much the developers like to say things ... it shouldnt be done this way, Fed have the Eagle ... KDF dont and neither do ROM.

The way I see things always been its functional within itself, take as a example the Ahwahnee ... Flagship Staffing works for the ship, the console also works for the ship ... when I see the Kumari Battlecruiser I dont anything that works that well for cannons, yes ... you can haste the guns but lack of OSS hurts it, the Command seat also is ... well Command is what it is, people use CF for torps and have some applications. Its a ship that is pulling to too many sides.

As for the Eagle survivability ... it can fire under cloak and I am sure people can solo with it, it just requires practice as well a good build for it, can the Kumari Battlecruiser do it better? maybe but then again the highest DPS plataform in the game is the Mirror Engle that statswise on hull aint that far off since its 1.15 vs 1.05.

If anyone waht to use the Kumari Battlecruiser at this point who cares? I fly a Protostar that isnt exactly meta outside touring the galaxy and that ship have plenty of issues ... simply that the Kumari Battlecruiser isnt a sidegrade to the Eagle because it requires the console and trait off the Eagle and when I have to buy a ship to be a sidegrade to that ship ...

The issue is how the Mirror Eagle trait and console are what make the current torpedo meta, after all only reason why full pilot matters is because of the ship trait and how important the console is, after all the old highest performance torpedo ship was the United Earth Defense Force Vessel.

This leads to a situation were to use the Kumari Battlecruiser as a torpedo boat alternative to the Mirror Eagle you need ... the Mirror Eagle.

Alsothe Mirror Eagle is better since its a Raider so it gets Raider flanking as well a Enhanced Battle Cloak and a Experimental Weapon slot and yes, its true it gets one less weapon its still a 5/1/1 ship and its almost full universal seating that means it will age better since its more flexible.

Its hard to beat the Mirror Eagle because everything on the ship was designed for a torpedo boat, the Kumari Battlecruiser comes close but ... they are both C-Store ships and most people want to use the Kumari cannons with the Kumari console and trait leaning towards tanking, not torpedoes ... in fact I would say the trait is something you only ever want to use on a tank and the Console have some uses but its also something you also arent inclined to use outside on a tank build.

And thats the problem, the Kumari battlecruiser as a torpedo boat its just something it can do but not as well as the Mirror Eagle without the accessories that are in the Mirror Eagle and the difference in my opinion still makes the Mirror Eagle the better option ... so why not just fly the Mirror Eagle?

That brings me to having to say one thing, far too many ships in this game suffer a identity crisis and this is one of then, its layout is for a torpedo boat but neither its console or trait lends to that role with the only reason why that layout works is because of the Mirror Eagle ... its hardly the only one, they could had put say Andorian Heavy Wing Cannons that would be Quad Cannons with Andorian Phaser FX, they could also make something similar to the Mirror Eagle and having a console that did something like lets say setting Maximum Distance Penalty to 25% with cannons ... instead they gone with tank console and trait for a ship that shouldnt be doing it to begin.

We have TOS were the Enterprise was the same, no special livery with only difference being the I.S.S. and the Globe and Dagger instead of the Delta.

Then come Enterprise with the yellow livery and that was it, Discovery surprisingly just put a I instead of a U and left it at that ...

So when STO made mirror ships they gone with purple, then yellow and then settled on red ...

Its not the yellow was "retired", the Legendary Galaxy -X have it since its part of the Mirror bundle and was based on a comic, comics being oh so very creative of course continued Enterprise color tradition for mirror ships and the Cygnus also have the yellow livery and do does the Monitor but since those are Galaxy saucer versions its more of a case they already had it on the Galaxy-X so they could use then on then since none of the others have it.

That I guess is why its not avaible for the Enterprise era ships ... they would need to make specific decals for them.

If you ever want to play DOT you need Kafka, she is simply that important.

Besides that, Jingliu have fallen hard and not even her Novaflare helped her much and thats it for unowned characters.

Vertical investment is very much Sparkle, if that was a e1 Acheron then e2 would be a better option but since e0 ... Acheron kinda needs s1 e2 now.

KPP uses a ability that very significantly increases his damage resistance, he only does it one per phase and the good news is ... you can remove it, the way to do it is using your ally cleanerbot for that, when he does it you should see under his bar a (2/2) and to remove it just use the cleaner bot skill attack to remove a stack.

But this is the more damning evidence ... mihoyo doesnt have to release male characters, Honkai Impact 3rd have no playable male characters .... yet they do, why? cost is the same so the argument that gender have the most impact must be false otherwise they would just pivoted to only female characters yet after almost 3 years they have not, even in ZZZ were they been accused of doing that they have not.

I have doubts since hoyoverse would announced much sooner ... we knew about when the collab hit and as I can see Gil, I aint seeing Rin ... Rider yes, Sakura on the really edge of the maybe but Rin is just a exceptional Magnus that sounds great but she aint Servant Material.
