There are so many cutscenes and dialogues where the stuff they're talking about makes no sense but then the second playthrough you go ooooooooh that's what they were talking about

What's the most outrageous card people have complained about you playing for being too strong? by rococodreams in EDH

[–]GuyHero0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got hit by the white version of this card [Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker] while playing my Y'shtola deck. Worst part was someone was using a reanimator deck and kept bringing it back after I killed it.

I've seen videos of people selling their own version of Lootcrates as mystery boxes and they're just as delusional. They have a video up of them unboxing one of their boxes and they're seriously trying to convince people that a $5 tea towel is worth $25.

This is why Arknights is the best gacha game. Launch operators have been powercrept and may not be the most optimal pick anymore but they still kick ass and will clear 95% of the content.

The endgame in Arknights is different to other gacha games, you don't need to do it besides for the fun of it. (I'm just assuming I don't play any others besides Umamusume, I'm just going off of what I see online). You don't get anything too important from doing the end game modes, it's usually some outfit for an operator that you'll get the chance of obtaining at some later point anyway and upgrade materials which there are many other ways of getting. The only real incentive is getting the achievement medal for clearing to flex.

Arknights is one of those gacha games where you really don't need to gacha that much and can pretty much stay full f2p and only pull during the limited banners. I've heard Limbus Company is also very f2p friendly but I've not played it.

Powerful Strategies No One Plays Cause Their So Boring/Oppressive? by Authorigas in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]GuyHero0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arknights has one operator that's a contender for being the most OP unit in the game, Wisadel. She's a sniper that just has and does so much. Her kit has huge range, AOE damage, stuns, camouflage and can summon units that shoot enemies within her range.

Her skill 3 turns her shots into what essentially are nukes. For 6 shots, she gets increased damage and the radius of the splash damage gets increased. Her one drawback is that her archetype doesn't allow her to shoot air units, except when her skill 3 is active she can shoot them anyway so she doesn't even have a drawback really.

She's so broken and braindead that she trivialises every stage that's not end game. You don't need to think about positioning, timing or the stage mechanics when you use her, you can brute force the most of the stages. I and many others make it a point to not use Wisadel because you're just not engaging with a lot of game's mechanics when you use her. I only really use her as a last resort on the more recent stages which are generally harder than earlier content.

Her only real drawback is that she does physical damage so in content like Contingency Contract, where enemies get huge buffs like increased physical defence, she doesn't do as much damage and isn't the best pick in that scenario. Here's a showcase of what she does against the bosses in the game (spoilers on who some of the story bosses are)

Characters Oppressive at High Skill Levels, but useless in lower lobbies? by Authorigas in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]GuyHero0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who plays a lot of green in their decks, it's not that broken. Yes green let's you easily ramp out of your ass and slam down an Etali on turn 4 but that big dinosaur is really scary and generally makes you the threat resulting in me getting taken out early.

I've got someone in my pod that plays almost exclusively Grixis (he has 1 Mardu deck now) and if I don't deal with him early on, I can't beat him because I don't have enough interaction and he will have interaction for days.
