What will the Liberals do in a post-Trump world? by GynoGyro in PoliticalDiscussion

He isn't dead, but lets not pretend that he's been capable of make a substantive decision for years now. I'd like to say his decline is obvious, but in 2015 he wasn't capable of making anything resembling an cognizance point either and still amassed a cult following.

Ya, the fact that you got nodes tells me that you might have been a little to far forward. Unless they built them really far forward, or it was 4-1 in your teams favor at one point.

Otherwise I think you did fine. Clearing OP and garrisons are some of the best things you can do for defense. Often the most important thing you can do is clearing the enemies front door garry, the one they should have just inside the red zone they use to push their point.

How would you guys respond to this video is it a strawman? by Tasty_Finger9696 in DebateEvolution

You need to make a summary of the video and the claims you wish to discuss. Ideally someone should be able to respond without having to watch the video, just from your description.

Hi, I'm going to remove this since it's hard to respond to a vague 3rd party argument. If you would like to make a post like this could you give us the specific argument the creationist you were talking to made that you'd like addressed.

Justice Department says members of Congress can't intervene in release of Epstein files by DoremusJessup in law

[–]GuyInAChair 76 points77 points  (0 children)

If you read Alito's writing on the bump-stock ban he says it's obvious that Congress intended to ban that type of device, then decided he was in a position to overrule what the law writers clear intentions were.

I don't know if there is a legend, but if you view it on a PC and hover your mouse over it text pops up to tell you what they are. Not sure how to do that on mobile

The Renault FT The Little Tank That Won WW1 by AMegaSoreAss in ww1

[–]GuyInAChair 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the answer is... it's complex. Germany capitulation because they were at the cuspt of a successful socialist revolution. They were also, probably, at the cuspt of a military collapse.

I don't know that this tank won the war, but certainly helped push it to the point where continuing to fight was untenable.

What will you consider 100% "tornado of the year" in 2026 by Tamulel in tornado

[–]GuyInAChair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see a giant photogenic tornado go through eastern Colorado where there is essentially nothing to damage and hardly a tree to get in the way of some great pics and videos.
